Those bags of milk replacement are 20kg (I paused to check). That is 44.09lbs. Sandi is carrying them around like they weigh nothing! She is such a badass! ❤️🐑❤️👍🏻
I hope the little ewe pulls through. I have dealt with Polio in sheep from another country, Africa. I raised a small herd of Aoudads. They are not hair sheep it is one of the only breeds of sheep in the world where the female has horns equal in size to her body as the rams do. My little Gracie started banging into things and showed the same behaviors. The vet heavy dosed her with Thiamine three times a day but she did not recover after four days. All the rest were fine. Not a fun thing to deal with since you can't comfort them much. My heart goes out to you.
Sandi, first time viewer in Canada. I have nothing at all to do with farms but your channel is educational, entertaining and actually fascinating. Kudos to you for your hard work, day in, day out, you’re authentic persona, your ability to willingly challenge any situation, obvious resourcefulness when necessary, your acquired skills, knowledge and organizational abilities and your commitment to healthy animals. 💞 Sandi, I do not have anything to contribute to your channel other than my compliments and admiration. I am an avid subscriber now and will share your wonderful, true to life videos. Good luck and do take care of yourself ok? Best of fortune going forward, my friend. Jody from Canada 🇨🇦
I’m so glad to hear that you like Cammy from The Sheep Game. I too think he’s hilarious. I love watching you both! It’s great to see 2 great people doing things a little differently but both having success! I’ve learned so much from you both! ❤️🥰 Sorry about the ORF & the polio. 😢
Hi Sandi just commenting as I watch. I believe sheep can cast their wool when they’re on the ‘thrive’. So it often happens to ewes after having a hard time like lambing, fever, mastitis etc and then they start doing well again. So it is often a good sign 🥰 Omg! Just got to the bit where I popped up!!!!! Thank you so much Sandi!, 🏴🇨🇦
Hi cammy. New Zealand is warm and windy here with a high of 26'c today. I'm still laughing at your backpack joke from last week.....😂😂😂😂. Those dear shop assistants are awesome.
Yes! I was thinking the same thing. This would happen occasionally with my mom’s flock and the local veterinary college told her that was most likely what was happening because we didn’t have lice and it would only happen to certain breeds that weren’t considered the “hardy” ones because they’re in a very cold climate.
You amaze me, you are as excited about the last lamb born as you are the very first. I grew up on a farm and we were a small operation, but with all the wonderful equipment you have, you and Mark are still working harder than any person should have to making a living. You are truly dedicated and love I watching you!!!!
I hope your ewe lamb gets better. Noah is so cute. And it cracked me up to see Cinnamon still acting like a puppy. She is so cute. You will have your hands full with her forever ❤
Since I've been sick in bed ive been binge watching these and have learned so much. Who knew farm animals make the day so much better. Never would i thought i would be saying i love sheep. Each one has there own personality its awesome. 🥰
Thanks again for the shout out to the new UA-cam channels! I adore Cammy, even if I can barely understand him, and I’m going to add the woman in California you suggested! Thanks again.👍👍👍❤️❤️👍
I'm addicted to the British sheep vlogs as well. I appreciate the true breed type they exhibit in the purebred flocks and think that the mules really need a better following in the US production model.
Sandi, I forgot to mention this suggestion at Christmas, but a great gift idea for you to mention to Mark would be a coffee maker for you to keep in the warm room. When you feel like you want to stay in the barn to watch a ewe in labor, but are in dire need of a cup of coffee - you could make a cup or 2 to wake you up and can warm yourself up. We are in the big ole Nore Easter the past 2 days . At least 12 to 14. Inches and more to come till Wed. Pm. Don't freeze.
@@LbEternity Well, if Sandi could just transfer most of the data from the Gallager to the webpage..... it Might be do-able. If she did a really short profile. Just Not while lambing is going on. :)
I think your sheep have a great life!! They are so loved and we'll fed!! They play eat sleep and have beautiful babies!! The babies are wonderful!! The running of the lambs is so much fun!!! They do live their best lives!!!
Sorry to hear that.... I am glad that you have mostly everything you would need right on hand. I don't think that I have seen but maybe once and it wasn't a big deal that you have needed something and not had it. I think always being prepared gives you more of a good chance to save them if they go down....I HOPE IT GETS BETTER!!!👍👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗🤗🐑🐑🐑🐑
Oh, Cami is great! Very funny...not to mention a skilled shearer even though he kind of denies it. It's also very entertaining trying to understand what he's saying (heavy Scottish accent) and I think I'm at about 50%, now. Another excellent farm one in Scotland is The Hoof GP. It's fascinating to watch cow hoof trimming. Seriously! But, Sandi is the one with her heart on her sleeve, which I adore. 🌿💖🍃
The babies grow so fast! So sorry about your ewe not feeling well. I love that Bobcat! What a versatile vehicle; I would love one! Thank you for your vlogs. Blessings from Texas!
Do not be dissing on yourself.. You are fantastic and do the best you that you can! Hugs from Esquimalt....wash your hands and don't spread the Orf.... or Sheep Herpies.... lol.... Hugs
Sandi, I love that you spread the love for others on social medial! I believe I first found Graham Parker, the hoof GP. Threw him I found the sheep game and Tom Pemberton. Kami Wilson mentioned you on his channel and that’s how I found you! I do not think I would ever be a farmer in any true way, shape or form, but because of Covid, I showed my students a video of sheep, being sheared, in conjunction with learning songs about sheep! And that kind of got me hooked! Lol. That’s about the only good thing that’s come out of Covid for me. I found you!
Oh Cinnamon!!! You just gotta be in the center of everything!!! Keep fighting for that ewe Sandi, as you do for any of your sheep who need your attention. You are such an amazing person, and you're not about to stop any time soon!!! Noah is growing so fast, before we know it, he's going to be in the ram pen with the big boys!!! My days are complete with Sandi and her Sheep!
Oh no! Not the SHERPES again!🙄 Polio!!! Dang! Pain reliever helps them cope with the physical stress the symptoms bring on from the extreme contortion. I hope lamby makes it. 💖⛄🐑
I love how curious the other ones are and want to see everything you are doing and want to climb on you like they did with their Mamas-aw. So sorry you are dealing with this, it has to be hard. I'll be praying for things to go easier for you and the sheep all stay strong and dont get sick.
I have a daughter-in-law who happens to be a tapestry artist. She spins and dyes a lot of her yarns. I accidently discovered your channel abs love it and turned my daughter on to you. We both love it! We are both in the US, she in Colorado and I am in Mississippi.
awwww so lucy was up while Kinsley was eating. Yea that was very cute of you talking and you just see Lucy running full sprint to her big sister behind you. smart move regarding the hay in the field.
I just started watching you a few weeks back. I love watching you, your family, friends and sheepies!!!!! I went all the way back 3 years to watch from the beginning!!! Thank you!!! I could never be a farm lady!
I love the colour of your hat. When I am over my cusions house I show your video to her because she don't have a computer or a cell phone or even internet.
They look so healthy! You do such a good job it appears. I know nothing about it. I’m a city girl that has a love for what you do. My great grandparents had a working farm that they lived off of completely. I spent a lot of time there and that’s where my love for this type of life came from.

You're famous now Cammy! ;-)
Yes! I was thinking the same thing. This would happen occasionally with my mom’s flock and the local veterinary college told her that was most likely what was happening because we didn’t have lice and it would only happen to certain breeds that weren’t considered the “hardy” ones because they’re in a very cold climate.
Sandi, don’t be so hard on yourself. Your flock looks very happy and receives great animal husbandry from you and carissa.
The lambs during feeding! Oh My the little hops, skips n jumps! So cute ❤

11:52 That one little lamb leaping and frolicking, too cute!
Wishing good luck with your sheep 🐑. I really look forward to seeing you. God bless you from Michigan USA
I LOOOOVE the Lambpedes when Moms are eating ...ready, set , zoom!
“Cinnamon get outta my pants!” Lol I lost it 🤣
I loved it! It is not something that you would expect to hear.
@@lindahartt-goggin3327 I think that’s why it’s soo funny! Haha
That was soooo sweet! lol I knew that was Cinnamon attacking her right away.
Good job
I did also lol I love it. This is what you file under something that sounds dirty but isn't lol.
I hope your ewe lamb gets better. Noah is so cute. And it cracked me up to see Cinnamon still acting like a puppy. She is so cute. You will have your hands full with her forever ❤
When I first saw that little building that holds the milk machine, I thought it was a outhouse. 🤣
It definitely resembles one at first glance! 😂
Me too!!! 😂
If it's in the barn, it's an inhouse.
Sally Chandler, so did I, think the milking machine was an out house when I first saw it! 😂

Starting Monday off with little Noah running up! 😍😍
LOVE The Sheep Game! Cammy is so entertaining, even when I can't understand what he's saying. Lol.

Wow I've watched Coleen for Years!!!

Sandi you are so real and I love the way you lamb.
Awh, little Noah is so precious.
I love watching the lambs run and play while the Ewes are feeding.

I always watch your UA-cam videos, whenever I feel down I just watch one of your lambing videos and it makes me feel better
Maybe now that you have the website, it can be somewhere to have the profiles for all the named sheep! The who's-who of the flock
That's such a fun idea! I would definitely read that.
That sounds like a really fun idea Caitlyn 🥰 but it could be a really big job for an already busy lady .
@@BornAgainFarmGirl yeh my thoughts exactly.. can’t imagine where she’d get the time to do that.

Polio! If it’s not one thing it seems to be another! Never a quiet day for you Sandi! You’re learning so much sheep farming it’s amazing .👍👍❤️❤️
I'm always behind but I love watching how wonderful you are with all your babies big ,older and little ones

check out the hoof gp too! he trims cattle feet but is so down to earth as well😀

Graeme Parker Hoof GP up in Scotland and Tom Pemberton in the UK
They’re great aren’t they? Tom Pemberton is not that far south of us, we are more towards the Lakes
I found this channel from the Hoof GP as well...
I'm so glad you showed little Noah he's so cute and I hate that about your lamb it make me feel bad for her hope everything work's GOD BLESS.
So sorry about your ewe lamb... hope you get he back to health and you don't have anymore problems
I love the colour of your hat. When I am over my cusions house I show your video to her because she don't have a computer or a cell phone or even internet.

Hope the little sheep is ok and doing better
Little Noah is adorable. He is a keeper. LOL
I am definitely not watching these in order and I am totally bingeing and I don’t care and I love it.
I missed Cinnamon so much she's me and my mom's favourite.
I love watching how you run your lambing season. It’s so much work.

I really enjoy Cammy. If I have had any questions he will answer quickly. Mainly questions for translation on terminology.
Hi again SANDI
All you can do is try. Seems like there's always something!Hang in there...
So sad about the sick ewe 😔 , you really care a lot about your sheep 🐑 , i love how they flock to you, it's so cute, 😊👍💕💕💕
I feel I should post this, as a lot of people seem to be thinking human Polio, it's absolutely not the same thing. I found this that describes it better than I can;
Polioencephalomalacia (PEM) is also known as cerebrocortical necrosis (CCN) and is a relatively common nutritional disorder in sheep and goats. A common name for this disease in sheep and goats is “polio”; however, it has absolutely no relationship with the infectious viral disease found in humans (poliomyelitis).
It is caused by a thiamine deficiency, when sheep or goats eat more pellet feed and not enough hay.
It's always something, isn't it? I hope everyone is feeling better fast!
Cammy is so cool. Watch him when he has new videos. And older ones. A real go getter!!! )
I love that you pet their entire face 🤍
Great video Sandi. You do such a good job. 👍👍👍❤️
Upvote this so Sandy remembers to buy the lice treatment!
Cinnamon sure loves you lol. Aww I hope you can work your magic and make him/her better xx
Lucy gets so excited 💕
12:45 I hope you’ve heard all the things she’s done 😢😢😢
Hate orf, horrible thing, I did lose one once when it was caked all over it's nose and compromised it's breathing. 🙁 . Hopefully your lamb responded to the treatment 🤞. Good luck.
Sounds kind of like thrush in humans. Very contagious and transferable from baby to mom in breastfeeding. And usually cause from a does of antibiotics
You are right. The Sheep Games is awesome!
Stay strong, and remember the good days and the ones you save!
Thank you for sharing !!
We had fog and snow as well, but it wasn't too cold out. The trees were covered in a blanket of snow that was beautiful. The evergreens looks gorgeous. I hope you're doing well!
I was talking to the wrong billy... Will you forgive me.. That was Adorable!!!
Saying a prayer for your lamb with polio. Hope you caught it in time and that she responds to treatment.
You need the sheep dip! When I was in Kenya, I help work the cow dip! I had to take a stick and push the cows' heads under the medicated water! The cows would be furious as they swam through at top speed because the water stung the skin!
You have some mad skills on the fork lift and the motorized feeder!
My daughter loves her too. She adores her as her "miranda" character.
You can sometimes hit them hard with the medication the first time and then after that do the regular medical routine, but ONE thing that I would and always do is to separate the sick one from the others so as to not add any more stress for one and then to try and keep what ever they had wrong with them from spreading to the others, and just HOPE AND PRAY FOR THE BEST, and yes it is a good sign that she was trying to get up, just as long as she doesn't give up or no longer as the strength, so make sure she has feed and water and a good quality of hay in front of her for strength and body warmth and we'll PRAY that she does make it for YOU, because I know what it's like to lose an animal of any kind
Separating a herd animal from the herd creatures more stress for them. They already feel like a target.
Yay!!! Hello Sandi and 🐑
