Question and I know this is an older video. Spark plug wires from smart coils to engine is there a specific sequence ? If so how to tell which plug to coil and engine.
Interesting placement for the coilpacks. Would you be willing to share your mounting template? I don't have the SBG kit, will be doing my own coilpack subharness
@@MohrGarage I ended up making my own using some simple bends on 1/8 inch thick alum. I utilized the stock coil holder for one side. If you have an email, I could send you some pics haha.
Vibration will kill coils thats way they are mounted on the body panels if possible. You need to rethink your coil mount that bracket is not going to do the job. Ck out Aaron Cake on utube for some ideas on bracets.
I am not sure if you are suggesting to mount the coils to body panels? Such as a fender? The location I am using is the same location as one of the stock coil packs. It is also where most kits using the smart coils are mounted, usually in a line. However, I could not fit them in a line due to my inter cooler piping. Other kits have the coils mounted on the engine block using the accessory bracket.
It's good to see one of your uploads. Cant wait to hear your rotary at first start!
I always like to call this setup as the HAL9000 tech.

Any reason why you didn’t consider a NPT 90 and mount the fuel pressure sensor sideways, giving you the clearance?
That's a good idea might look better too

I can share the rough draft that I started with. After that it's a lot of test fitting and shaping.
Mohr Garage yes please. I can do the shaping easily haha.
