So many great players, Dragondarch, PJ, Joe, KirinDragon, Ericthefaceplant etc. I used to watch PJ a decade or so ago play with all the different characters, Kirin did the same too.
Idk about that man. I still got a physical copy of this game and a working snes right now. Beaten the game on every character. Even have a rom of the magic fix patch that I've beaten.
Started this game so many times a kid, loved playing it, didn't even mind the grinding too much, but never got even close to finishing. Glad to be able to watch someone manipulate and beat the game for me!
This run made me buy The 7th Saga cart. I just got it and put 20 hours in so far. Very fun. I love the grind. Also, probably watched this vid more than ten times now.
Epic Job!! Beat this as a kid in the 90's - my biggest challenge gaming wise.. had no idea about the Brown Coat, M.Water and Fire Cloak AND the door opening in "Spider Town" wow - it was like talking to 2 wise sages lol - thanks. That was awesome 😂
The stat gains in Elnard are DOUBLE US 7th Saga, good gods lol. I've beaten 7th Saga more than once and for some reason I keep coming back to this hateful game. Anyway great run, runner, and commentary.
The one time I've finished this game, it was a solo Esuna run. I got all the way to FOMA with Kamil/Valsu once, but I was severely underleveled, to the point I couldn't effectively grind on random encounters.
They literally wanted to make the game harder and longer to beat, that's it. So they halved the stat growth. And didn't halve the stat growth of the apprentices, so you get smashed in the original. It sucks lol.
I might be the world's biggest fan of The 7th Saga, so this was great to see.
I love watching the speedrun dragon always does a good job

UA-cam: Do you want to watch Dragondarch run 7th Saga? Okay, algorithm. You win this round.

The commentary carries this run so much...
3:55:31 "You have to get excited about something when youre playing this game" The comment says it all
Looks like Elnard Wilme left his loincloth at home.
That sword that Wilme can use, "🗡️SWORD", I always called it the "sword of swords". Sounds cooler.
Once again, Wailord is holding down the fort like the boss that he is.

The Lux "Tune-Up" is SO freaking cool!! How cool! Wow. Wow.

I loved all the seventh saga / elnard differences explained.
as a big fan of the US version, It makes more sense now
1:30:17 I always thought the cocoons looked like mummified stubby thumbs.
I always called Pison 'Piss-on' because you just piss on him in every fight.
Never seen this game before, the enemy design is fantastic.
When's DRAKKEN coming back?
Wow! Played this game as an early teenager. So painful at times but beat it.
Way to make wonder why it took me so long to beat it!😂

I'm still sad they never made the first 6 sagas.
7th SaGa is my 2nd favorite SaGa game after Small SaGa
Is it not worth it to do the block then attack earlier on?
Still hoping for a 7th saga remake/remaster on switch. 🙏
lux is a tank

Why is M. Bison a boss in this game lol Oh wait that's M. Pison.
esuna speed run?! you poor soul lol

Has anyone ever explained why so many negative QoL changes were made to the US version?
