@@ThePallidor the game was ridiculous and I was not above grinding either. when I played FFII and FFIII (US designation) I would level my team to level 99 just to say I did it. Even with that level of dedication to the grind, 7th Saga was maddening. It's too far gone now... I'll never go back and beat it, and it haunts me LOL
same with Mystic Ark, Terranigma, Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, Actraiser, Brainlord, Bust a Move(Groove)... man so many great games to list them all here :C
The commentator was super insightful. Too bad the guy playing purposely starts talking over him whenever the commentator tries to explain something. It's so obvious.. it's sad for the helpful commentator, but i pity the guy playing
Great run! Wish the commentator had the opportunity to share more of his thoughts, and that the player added to his topics instead of cutting him off to talk about something else. Which is weird, because they have normal interactions here and there (when getting Lejes).. maybe audio issues between them? Still, it could be worse.

Yea." He knows he's being cut off and he doesn't feel like there's anything he can do about it. Poor guy. This is so painfully awkward I'd rather not watch, and I hope someone else did a run of this game.
What about Saga Frontier on ps1, not many know about it I think? I tried playing the first playthrough with Blue and I didn't get much further, it was confusing as hell for me.
@@kilvasify SaGa Frontier was, at its release, unlike anything else in western RPG markets. It had a huge learning curve. Once a player got past it..amazing game. Stands out for me

It's not a grindy mess of a game. If you play this, kill Brains, see their high XP, and don't "grind" those, then you're an idiot. You can gain levels quite quickly in this game.
Overall this was an enjoyable video, but I have to say that the player was CONSTANTLY interrupting the other speaker... it makes you seem extremely rude/unprofessional. I am sure you did not mean anything by it, but you might wanna work on that. Otherwise, nice video and thanks for putting it up!
No I agree. The guy playing was so fucking rude to the other guy just trying to commentate. It was like he didn't want him to sound more knowledgeable than himself or something. He sounds arrogant. Made me want to never subscribe or watch a video of this guy playing again.

It's a guy that spent a considerable amount of time making a video with commentary attempting to entertain his viewers and get more subscribers/views. People like him usually appreciate constructive criticism so that they can improve the quality of their videos and make it more enjoyable for others.

Também acho. Não sei o porque, provavelmente pouca divulgação. Tem 7 personagens que mudam substancialmente a gameplay e a história. Por exemplo estou jogando atualmente com Lejes e depois de Doros não me dizem mais pra onde ir. Rs jogo é foda, tá me fazendo vasculhar tudo pra continuar a campanha.
This game has some weird enemy names. Griffon for the snake man, Serpent for the Scorpion lady, and so many others. Did they just have a common enemy list and randomly assign these names?
This dude is freaking rude, constantly interrupting the commentator. I'm at the 27 minute mark right now, and the commentator was explaining type 1 and type 0 monsters. Before he even got half way through, the player interrupts him as though he wasn't even speaking. I didn't get to finish hearing about the type 0 monster. He does this so much... if I were the commentator I don't think I would have put up with it for even that long.
Probably audio issues between them.. it's not like their are in the same room. Although, I agree. I wish they had the time to talk about everything.. but sadly, this is a speedrun as well, where moments are short. Still, he could do a better job.

brutal game barely made it through. as i recall i used the dwarf and had the elf as my partner for most of the game. i made the mistake of failing to grind and upgrade my equipment before a crucial point in the game and ended up stranded in an area where the enemies were way too powerful. had to go to the inn after every battle for a while.

The US difficulty was accidentally made much higher than the J version.

Why not get the water rune during the brain grind? It would save money and time shopping for potions I would think.
