Mad props to the whole band. Cunio's voice is fucking insane
Sophia and him need a duet.
Actually, two massive vocal talents like them may not work well together. Personality, production, vibe. It's often best to let the talent breathe within it's own space. This is NOT an issue with character, it's simple performance dynamics. If a personality is into a 32 bar phrase and the next personality is due up in 4... 3... 2... It can totally trash a performance.
There have been hundreds of duets throughout music history with two powerful singers getting along just fine coming up with a hit song.
I am sure they can work it out.

Passenger by Deftones (w/ Maynard) would be a good one for them to team up on
@@ArmedAngryAtheist oh hell yeah... personally I would have Cunio sing Maynard's parts and Sophia brings it with those haunting vocals that Chino performs so well.
Not many vocalists can match Maynard's intensity and raw emotion, but Cunio does an outstanding job. The playing and arrangement are brilliant. Such a great cover!
Including this vocalist. He is obviously talented but nowhere close to Maynard.
As a massive Tool fan for decades (and a Brass Against subscriber for years), this is one of the best Tool covers I have EVER seen. Amazing energy throughout the entire piece. Brilliant dynamics, accurate arrangement, creative adaptation. Thank you for this!

Honestly, I've loved every single Tool cover that Brass Against has done, with the various singers they've gotten, they were all fucking fantastic singers with fantastic arrangements and interpretations).
Although, won't lie, every time I watch a Brass Against video, I just can't help but imagine how it has to feel sonically in the room. Like, it has to fucking shake your goddamned bones.

Tools tendencies to let notes float along with the drawn out heavily emphasized lyrics lends itself to these brass inclusion adaptations so well.
It's the actually the other way around (MJK writes and records vocals after the instrumenals are finished), but it doesnt change the accuracy of your point.
