  • We finally did a boat tour video! You've watched us live on, and cruise this boat for years while only seeing bits and pieces of her. This is by far the MOST requested video from our subscribers, and we are excited to finally share it with you!
The boat is a 1999 Sea Ray 480 Sedan Bridge. Some of her highlights include 1400 watts of solar power, twin Caterpillar 3196 diesel engines with 660HP each, bow/stern thrusters, 3 staterooms and 2 full heads. We've owned and lived on this boat in Florida for 3 years, with half of that being off-grid in a mooring field in Key West.
Quick note: This was filmed in 2021 and we sold the boat soon after filming this video.
Thanks for watching. We hope you enjoy the video!

I to am a livaboard and I agree with not leaving shore water hooked up. I have seen boats go down when a water line breaks and the water continues flowing in. Rare to happen but possible.

Im so jealous. But i cant believe you have a washer/dryer, a central vacuum unit that you dont use not to mention all these TVs not in use... i guess my dream involves sitting on my gently rocking yacht at night binge watching tv while waiting on a load of laundry after vacuuming. Someday soon I'll be out here on the pacific in my very own liveaboard...

Your last video was all about giving up the live aboard life. What happened to change your mind. Glad to see you both back on the water. I remember you bought an ambulance and were gonna go RV'ing. Little confused guys. What's up?

We have one more boat vid left, where you’ll see it change hands to the new owner, and then our ambulance camper conversion videos will start. Sorry for the confusion.

@@TeamWiff that's ok. I was just surprised because your last video was you guys buying a used ambulance, packing up and moving off the boat.
Love to see a video with actual real costs to buy a used ambulance. How do you even do that? Also, how you retrofitted it and the costs for that too.
Thanks! Look forward to your vids

Thanks so much for the video. My wife and I own a 1998 Sedan Bridge here in East Tennessee and love seeing other owners who love their Sedan Bridge. Can I ask how you guys set up your cockpit canopy? Did you make it or was it an aftermarket buy? We could certainly use one on the crazy hot days!!!

Absolutely! We used 2 cheap telescoping poles and a large shade we bought on Amazon. We cut the shade to size and stitched a piping on the shade that slid into the canvas track already mounted on the cockpit ceiling area for our boat enclosure.
It wasn’t the prettiest, and it sagged a little when it got wet, but it held up nicely for over a year, before we removed it when we returned to living at a marina.

I live in Jacksonville Florida just moved here going through a pretty rough divorce and I want to try something new. Living on a boat or something is always interested me I'm the only person in my family that did not join the Navy I became a nurse instead so all the rest of my family is used to being at on a boat and at sea would you recommend it what is your insurances like I watched the con video about all the things you didn't like about your AC the marinas insurance leaks by an anonymous opinion is it something you would recommend and if so for a first-timer any helpful hints

Thought you sold your boat last video?

    • @TeamWiff

We did. The boat is long gone now (to another family). We filmed this as we were moving off of the boat, to make sure we gave our subscribers a tour since it was highly requested.

@@TeamWiff ahh, ok. Looking forward to your ambulance videos.
Could you do a video on how much your actual costs to buy a used ambulance and fix it all up?
