No one is going to even try to appreciate the narrator for his fluid, consistent pronunciation of "Stanislawa Leszczynska" ... People consistently undervalue this man, these people, for their multiculturalism. Hope you read this, thank you to all @ Infographics show!
the narrator will remember that
Agreed
Oh wow! They saw it!
This particular narrator is one of my favorite voice-over talents. I dunno why, but he reminds me of SOLID SNAKE's voice done by David Hayter (Metal Gear Franchise)
That’s perhaps the most American-accented proper pronunciation of a Polish name that I’ve ever heard.
To be a Japanese man risking his life to save the Jews is a near-unique thing as far as I've ever read (or listened to). For all these people, Righteous doesn't begin to cut it.
Japan was also bad in ww2
@@Halo-hz9zu Well yea
@@Halo-hz9zu that’s what makes him so unusual.
@@bruxinth4660 true
The Japanese Shinto shrines (the religious idealism) wasn’t happy about getting stripped of power so they actually served as sanctum for fleeing refugees, considering the main shrine is isolated in the north this worked VERY well
Man surprised the voice actor for Infographics has his voice still. Respect
Proper roadman u
He just talks. Literally, he just talks…do you not talk all day?!!?
He's very quiet outside of yt
Pretty sure he also does the videos we have to watch at Taco Bell when we get new stuff. If that's not him, I'll be shocked.
His name is hunter and he dose lose his voice
1:15 my favorite quote is “the pen is not mightier than the sword. Mighty is the hand that knows when to wield a pen or a sword”
This video enraged Adolf's father, who punished him severely.
Nice refernarsce
If only he punished him more severely maybe none of that would happen

Why do we instantly elevate monsters to be legendary, but neglect to acknowledge the knights that slay them?
10/10 quote
Good question, because nobody knows why you all turn into monsters in the first place. The Australian Aborigines don't know, black ppl sure don't know, Jewish ppl don't know, Natives of North and S. America don't know either.
@@pierrecalderone I am Native American. Though, I must have missed the racial aspect of my question.
Beowulf, a story known for the knight not the monster.
A lot of sick people probably wish they could imitate those monsters. Many of them probably think of them and themselves as the real knights or are just trash people.
Hats off to these Germans who recognized evil and stood against it.
Oskar Schindler deserved a spot
The real Germans recognized evil and stood against it, research the Weimar Republic, the Holodomor, Institute fur Sexualwissenchaft, and the Spartacist uprising.
@@Gamer-ry6xy same with klaus von stauffenberg.
"People often forget the first country Nazis invaded was their own"
@@sarunasrimkus1964 The Nazis only came to power because the \\\communists/// tried to instigate a red revolution in their country, same as they are doing to the USA. Antifa was founded in the Weimar Republic.
When evil becomes the norm
Courage always strikes back.
so good to know that people were willing to sacrifice their comfortable lives to stand un to tyranny
The thumbnail is jotaro and you cant prove me otherwise.
Literally though that was jotaro and clicked immediately
I can't stop seeing jojo reference
BRO I FR THOUGHT JOTARO WAS A POLICE IN THE THUMBNAIL, DON'T DO THOSE TO ME INFOGRAPHICS
Witold Pilecki actually has a song about him and his actions. Inmate 4859 by Sabaton. Check it out if you want to know more

Haha! I was about to comment on that. Oops, Infographics Show!
Imagine being being a political parties worst nightmare just because you dance
Try not to use the terms "nationalism" and "fascism" interchangeably. Most partisan resistance fighters regard themselves as nationalists.
Your almost there. Communism and fascism are best friends. The left and the right wing are both parts of the same beast, the Devil.
Only God can save us.
@@Brian-tb1op God gifted the world with the spirit of nationalism by destroying Nimrod's imperialist regime.
youre right, the italians were fascist while the nazis were nationalists
@@hkiller57 The Gaullists (a faction of the French Resistance) were also nationalists and they fought against the not-sees and the Vichy puppet regime. Resistance nationalism is a thing.
@@hkiller57 nazis were fascists as fascism and nationalism go hand in hand
Nationalism by itself is not an issue
It's when you get these other ideologies especially authoritarianism with a superiority complex that sees everything else as a threat that's when issues arise
Fact. Most people these days use the terms "nationalism" and "fascism" interchangeably which makes them sound like ignorant laypersons. Most partisan resistance fighters regard themselves as nationalists.
This is awesome dude first minute you have 750 views keep the good work dude so proud of you
thought for a sec it was Jotaro on the thumbnail
Saint Maximilian Kolbe is also a person who should be mentioned. Great hero, great martyr.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life to his friends.
I appreciate the animated stories more than a series of unrelated pictures and clips
For a quick second, I thought the thumbnail had Jotaro in it 😂😂
It is
It is very uncommon that somebody sets away their pride and realizes the thing they are really standing for.
I love these types of videos.
Not gonna lie i thought that was Jotoro from JOJO in the thumbnail.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the heroic acts done by these people.... ❤❤
And thanks to the Infographics Show for such wonderful videos.... 🤗❤👌
Imagine saving 2000 people and being treated like the bad guy.
Life is not always fair.
1:18 His name was Fritz Gerlich, not Gerlach.
Japanese hero, choose the right decisions, what a wonderful man, salute to this man.
This was amazingly inspiring. The music helps and shows respect to these amazing heroes, and these heroes we never hear of are amazing! So many were thrown into camps for their "crimes"! A harrowing and inspiring set of tales in this day and age of rapidly increasing fascism around the world.
came because of the Jotaro thumbnail
stayed for the knowledge
The infographics show, talking about WWII Heroes, you should really talk about wilm hosenfeld (:
Wilm hosenfeld who was he
There was a movie called “Swingkids” about the Swingjugen. Love the dancing in it.
I had forgotten the name of it, thanks.
@@Eyes0penNoFear It Was In 1993, with Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Robert Sean Leonard (Dr. James Wilson in House), etc.
so according to the thumbnail their worst enemy is Jotaro KuJo? i'd for sure would've expected Joseph Joestar but hmm makes sense.

Deadass thought that thumbnail was Jotaro
It is
Those little things that crippled the Nazi's. Speaking out against the bad things, and becoming aware. We thank them all.
Look up the types of books the Nazis burnt.
Each one of these people should have a movie made about them

True courage and humanity,
Was that a jojo reference
You should do a video on Issei Sagawa.. very interesting
Sugihara was the real life "Papers Please" it sounds like! All these people had guts, and did what needed to be done.
There are so many more people that performed righteous actions during WW2 that SHOULD be called heroes too. Oskar Schindler. The Polish woman who hid a group of Jews in her attic. Miep Gies. So many who risked their safety and that of their families to save the lives of The Jewish people in WW2 Europe. I know this: God has sainted all of these people for their courage kindness and respect for doing what they did.
Have you ever heard of the Holodomor, and what they did to Ukrainian Christians?
@@jakemocci3953 no I haven't. What happened?
great video!
100% thought that was Jotaro Kujo in the Thumbnail
Gerlach's statement about Nationalism was false.
Also, I'm surprised that the priest was against racism, because racism was pretty normal back then, even amongst the Allies
Racism was normal for all of recorded history.
Sugihara saved over 10,000 refugees. Each visa was able to used for an entire family, so many pretended to be a family
My grandfather was saved by Chiune Sugihara
I was hoping they mention Witold
Ngl the guy picture kinda looked like jotaro
When I saw the thumbnail, I thought the Infographics made a video about Jotaro.
It is awesome to learn about world war 2

God bless all the people on this wonderful list. I was enjoying every second of it. TBH I haven't even heard of half of these people and I'm pretty knowledgeable about history myself. Witold Pilecki in camp:
I'm not locked in here with you. You're locked in here with me!
Albert Göring, brother of Herman
Albert too was a hero. He opposed the Nazis from the very beginning and used his connections with his brother Hermann to save the lives of countless Jewish people. Unfortunately after ww2 he was wrongly accused of his brothers crimes but thankfully those who he had saved testified on his behalf which resulted in his release. Unfortunately for the rest of his life he was shunned due to his family name and died without any public recognition. Thankfully in the modern day his story has come out and he is recognized for his humanitarian efforts.
Can you do Japanese Worst ww2 nightmare.
Nationalism isnt an inherently bad thing the ethno nationalism in an authoritarian gov most certainly is a horrific thing. I see comments claiming fascism is a far right wing ideology but many scholars claim Mussolinis style of fascism was liberal fascism (leftwing fascis) with social rationalism at its roots.
Can you explain some cool conspiracies about the nazis? There’s so many theories about secret weapons that are super interesting
And how nazus either escaped or how the ideology survived
Germanys worst nightmare was operation barbarossa and the events that followed up to it. Nothing else.
