I like the way you laid out all the engine parts. It would be interesting to see a three phase induction motor of similar h.p. disassembled laying next to the engine parts
Very very well done and moreover in a wonderful harmonic meditational kind of way. Thank you very much for saving old iron witnesses and sharing this in a nearly perfect way. I do a Kotau (is this the right way to say that I show my respect?).
Congratulations on saving yet another beautiful old engine from becoming scrap. Do you happen to machine or resurface the crankshaft bearing surfaces and journal?
I enjoy the videos, however, they bring questions to my mind. (1) Why do the restorers/mechanics not place the engine on a work table for the process of disassembling and reassembling of the engine (2) Why are we never shown any worn-out parts being replaced with new parts (3) Why does the restorer/mechanic never repaint the engine to its original color (4) Why are the lifting/carrying handles so small in diameter (4) Why does the restorer never use light to illuminate and inspect the inside of the fuel tank (5) How is the correct balance of the flywheel determined (6) Why does the restorer never use specialized engine tools such as micrometers, piston ring compression sleeves, etc. (7) How hard are these engines to find in poor but restorable condition and are they cheap to buy for restoring ???????????????
Thank you! I use the floor because the work space is small. Wabi and Sabi are important in Japan, so we avoid replacing parts and painting. It's a play, so it's rough ;)
Where can I Buy one ,! Please , I would that care of it ,,,oh you can hook that motor to anything even a Wheel horse,,tractor. Definitely love the old masters ,,,,!! 🙏🌹🐺🗡⚔️✝️🛐🐾🐾🐾🙏🕉✝️🛐🙏🐺
Ver y good job
Muy buen trabajo... Felicitaciones
Nice work...thank you
very good as always! keep up the good work!
Thank you!
Very cool! It’s fun to see how things are done differently around the world. I’m glad I found this channel!
Nice engine, Wish I had one.
Thank you ;)
Nice job. Where is the fuel tank?
I love how careful you are on your engines! I need to take a note from your book and slow down a bit
Thank you!
Your Awesome, Keep up the great work, I really enjoy the videos
Thank you!
Good work 🤗

Absolutley awsome! Love it! Thanks for posting
Thank you!

Congratulations on saving yet another beautiful old engine from becoming scrap. Do you happen to machine or resurface the crankshaft bearing surfaces and journal?
Thank you ;)
I have only adjusted with a shim.
Where can I find these old engines?
I purchase at a scrap factory etc.
Do you redo the Babbitt on your crank bearings yourself?
Reduce the sim and use it :)
Same here. Shims are a lot easier to find than Babbitt. I collect every bit I find to re smelt if need be.

Obrigado!
Do you sell or trade any of these engines?

A box of FORD parts...

the way you lap valves in is not correct! You have to spin like you are starting a fire with sticks
I see :)
DAT Blue Husky it differs on diesels...
Fuck it works
maybe on a Tecumseh. I go at it like a teenager on the little motors. On diesels and V-8s it's a slow grind.
Exc trabajo
Gracias!
