Her attorney is even worse because he knew she didn't have sufficient evidence to proof her case. The money she spent to bring this attorney to PPC she should have spent it on a good therapist. Many relatives try to cling onto possessions related to a deceased family member because they fear losing tangible pieces of their lost one. The judge did an excellent job of helping this woman to understand that.
She's calling up the current owner and telling him he has stolen property. She's bragging in the post-verdict interview about all the people who she told about the defendant who knew she was there today. The only thing that she exposed was is that she is wrong and she defamed a few people, no wonder the lawyer is staying out of it. Grief or not you can't make false allegations that can hurt people
The plaintiff is wrong and doesn't want to accept it. The defendant had evidence and she only demonstrated that she's delusional and needs to move on. This woman needs some major therapy. She looks a bit unstable.
Her attorney didn't want to say anything because he knew she didn't have leg to stand on this. He was there just to see if his pressence would intimidate the defendant and the defendant was being genuinely honest.
He couldn’t say anything. That’s how small claims works.
Anything 3 years in the elements won't be worth much !!!
Sad, but there wasn't a ton of proof of wrongdoing on the defendant's part
Why is that sad? Did you WANT him to be a thief?
There was NO PROOF that he did anything wrong...like zero
@@TopherGrant no, she didn't prove her case. Sad as in, waste of time
She was so prepared love to see it
Let me translate that lawyer at the end when Doug invited him to say something.
A silent lawyer is worth a thousand words, thus:
The lawyer refused to talk = "I told her NOT to do this!"
I feel horrible for her, she suffered a horrible loss. She's still grieving and it's making her unable to accept the truth
The late husband messed up!!!! ...and there is no recourse😢
I had the same year waverunner and I acquired the exact same way. My friend owed me money and that’s how he paid me. The judge was right a thief wouldn’t leave a paper trailed like that.
This chick is annoying like get over it your husband did something he didn’t tell you about
Plaintiff has misplaced anger- the bike isn’t gonna change her husband being gone. The lawyer knew it was legal
Anyone can make a bill of sale. He needed it to register the jet ski. A thief would do that. I think he took it bc the guy passed away. Of course she didn't know it was gone bc she was grieving. Grief has no time limit.
She was a classy lady who, as the judge described, was placing so much value on a rather insignificant item. She is still in mourning and obviously this was part of her grieving process. Hope she gets healing!
she should pay him for slander and defamation.
Move on Mum my heart goes out to you always 😢😊
Doug calling out the lawyer lol
Judge: Why did you suspect it was him.
Also Judge: Do you have proof?
Suspicion by definition will not have proof.
She couldn't find a more recent signature
First time in my life I have ever heard of a lawyer who did not want to talk.
She should of used the money she spent on that lawyer to buy her kids a new wave runner. Husband got a sweet deal by offering it instead of having to pay for the work. Shes upset bc he husband didnt tell her
This is how hoarding disorder manifests. I really hope the plaintiff gets/got therapy.
The lawyer just sat with his hat hand on lap like a sap 😂
I do things and don’t tell my husband… but eventually I do!! Maybe he didn’t get around to it. He was sick 😳
Sadly this is an example of grief not dealt with
is there not a date on the bill of sale? or a date of when it was registered in his name? would that not prove whether it was changed hands before or after the plaintiff's husband died? or did he not reg it for a while(not sure how it works in the US)
