If you're coming here to leave a negative comment about how we're greedy, sellouts, and how could we possibly ask anybody to donate $1 for the full review, etc...please leave it under this comment so that it's not scattered throughout the comment section. To everyone else, thank you for your support and understanding.
Are we going to be able to see these classic reviews at the end of the year, or do we have to donate? I would love to donate, and I think I'm going too, because I love your videos.. but I'm just curious.
We actually were going to do something like that, but once so many people started complaining on the last video, we decided not to. It's still a possibility since you asked. Maybe we can do something like a Classic Album Review Day.
i fuck wit u nggas heavy. i will listen if u ever post the full thang. but i aint givin utube or patreon my info. i think y'all should want views, but git ur money if ur hurtin for it
definitely not, there were so many rappers doing shock value shit after Em, and people forget, records don't sell like they used to anymore. Odd Future were saying extremely fucked up shit and they got huge, but they never got the massive record sales Em had. He might have been a big artist in controversy. but not in sales.
ted the commenter odd future are good IMO but Eminem is better IMO he probably wouldn't have been as big because of sales but would be more controversial.
The best thing about early Em is that it felt like he really fucking meant every word he said and that feeling was at its peak in this album. It's like every line on this album is delivered full of emotion (especially the Ken Kaniff skit). Personally, I think that's what's missing from his music these days. His technical ability in terms of flow and punchlines have improved ridiculously and he still says some fucked up shit every now and then but he lost the edge of being able to deliver it meaningfully.
It's more than just that though. His voice has deteriorated so much over the past 20 years and plus, Dre and the Bass Brothers no longer produce any of his songs and his production is practically all pop now. If you listen to each track on the MMLP, each beat had a mood to it that matched Em's dark themes unlike today where all the shit sound the same
I been watching you guys for years cause I have no one else except for nerds on the internet to talk to about hip hop. So I donated my dollar to see the full review. Thanks for keeping this up.
Y'all do know by paying $1, you get access to this review and last months review Kanye West - The College Dropout. That's like paying 50cents per classic review now.
I wish a major corporation would give y'all a look so we could get this content for free... complex gave wakademiks a fucking show and he doesn't know shit about hip hop the way y'all do.
Damn I hope they release the full ones, I think a good thing would be patron's get the review, then a few months later it releases on YT. Theres no reason to make content that only a % of your fanbase can watch
Not the biggest fan but, 3 great albums. SSLP, MMLP, TES. The other are inconsistent but with gems (Bar Encore which sucked). Plus what he did on Devils Night and 8 Mile Soundtrack was dope.
When XXL or Complex or Hell..Rolling Stone finally get their act together and hire you guys, don't forget us. The ones that were there from the beginning. I will also want my dollar back. I will sign, if you're asking. More Classic reviews and I'm in. G.
mmlp was so good, I knew the lyrics to a lot of the songs on there and I was only like 9 years old cursing up a storm lol. I remember it was my sister that bought the album and she skipped straight to the track called "Kim" and I was so shocked by that song. I remember my favorite tracks as a kid was, Criminal (that was my favorite one), kill you, Stan, the way I am, the real slim shady, Marshall Mathers, and Kim.. I would listen to those songs like everyday haha.
I like alot of EMS albums but this one is special to me. I had heard and liked his slim shady lp and his stuff on dres chronic 2001 but this album is when I really started to be impressed with his artwork and wanted to hear more.
Eminem was a necessary response to PC culture in the 90's from both the religious right and extremist left. Not trying to get into politics but that's just what it was. It's a shame Odd Future didn't get big now instead of in 2011, since that PC movement is back in full swing.
Hey tried to become a patreon really love y'all's but when I tried to put in my credit card info the shit kept crashing still would love to support though just figured y'all should know
enter the wutang 36 chamber, return to the the 36 chambers by ol Dirty, Tical by method man, liquid swords gza, only built 4 Cuban linx raekwon and the 2nd ghost face album I totally forgot the name
OH MY GOD. please please please put the preview part on the begining of the title. It's like having sex and waking up to find out you're listening to wet dreamz by J cole.
Very smart by the way to do MMLP! Marketing geniuses you guys! Props! I need to join and will but my phone isn't working for some reason as it says "doesn't work in this browser" but I emailed link to myself and will do it on computer after I get back from gym! PS Myke you know your ish but still don't get how you don't agree "Stan" is absolutely brilliant!
1999 - 2002 Eminem ... The Most Hated Rapper but Scariest Person to diss ...
98-2002

Dead End Hip Hop How long is the review I'm thinking about paying to watch? Like is it longer than usual?
That would be fantastic! I don't really understand why people complain though. Whatever.. Keep up the good work! :)
i fuck wit u nggas heavy. i will listen if u ever post the full thang. but i aint givin utube or patreon my info. i think y'all should want views, but git ur money if ur hurtin for it
Imaginining Eminem being bigger than he was in 2000 is crazy, but probably true
definitely not, there were so many rappers doing shock value shit after Em, and people forget, records don't sell like they used to anymore. Andrea Cusanno Foreal, Em had a personality as well. A lot of interviews clips would be scattered all over Instagram.
Andrea Cusanno it would be true why? Because social media and UA-cam, eminem blew the fuck up without UA-cam and shit imagine with the internet
@@tedthecommenter5364 it's not who saud the most fucked up shut but the way he said that in his music that's what make eminem Eminem the Goat
If y'all can buy Jordans and weed you can support Patreon.
Lmao
eh
ya know...
Im convinced
Eminem basically made an Hip-Hop record like an underground punk record.
Top 5 album of all time in my opinion. Definitely couldn't be put out today, people are SUPER SENSITIVE nowadays.
TheSonOfAGunFrom410 is its sensitive to not want homophobic slurs in your music ?
MF Whom ? Yes that's the definition of sensitive
@@mfwhom5214 Fuck yeah, and in Em's words "Half the shit I say I just make it up to make you mad, so kiss my white naked ass"
the last song is literally Eminem talking about how frustrating it is to see people thinking he means everything he says and people being sensitive
this and the college dropout reviews are great, yall got to get on patreon. not just for this but to support these guys in general
The best thing about early Em is that it felt like he really fucking meant every word he said and that feeling was at its peak in this album. It's like every line on this album is delivered full of emotion (especially the Ken Kaniff skit).

xenophontiacicidationarionism he had moments on Recovery where he touched his old self, every now and then he has those moments but not consistently.
It's more than just that though. His voice has deteriorated so much over the past 20 years and plus, Dre and the Bass Brothers no longer produce any of his songs and his production is practically all pop now. Damn I just finished listening to the album for the first time wtf
bigmacchicken ' what's the review then
Know what fuck it, I'm becoming a patron
lol @ people mad. it says "preview" in the title and you can see the video is only 4 minutes before clicking it...
The only reason the MMLP would be more excepted now is because of the grounds Em pushed in a commercial setting
I've been waiting for y'all to review this album forever
I been watching you guys for years cause I have no one else except for nerds on the internet to talk to about hip hop. So I donated my dollar to see the full review. Thanks for keeping this up.
In my opinion this is his best album
His most iconic album for sure but TES is my favorite
