0:00-6:43 = review 6:43-12:59 = gripes 13:00 = Myke and Feefo totally got in a fight and Rod pressed pause on the camera 13:00-18:25 = contemplations 18:25-20:40 = review
French Montana should just work behind the scenes because he's great at picking beats and getting features but dang man he just brings down every track he's on.
I don't think you should only review albums you like. If it was like that then we'd generally get the same artists reviewed. I think it's good to review popular albums even though you won't like it.
RaShann Finger I completely agree with you... but I don't even think this is in their wheelhouse. Like even if French made the best trap album he could(and we all know he didn't), they probably wouldn't be crazy about it at least I think. It's a big assumption but that's my guess
I don't think their point is about only reviewing albums they like but even if you don't like it, there should be SOMETHING you can bring to the conversation about an album f you're going to bring it to the table.
Not every review you guys do should be positive. In fact I think a healthy dose of negative reviews is necessary for people to know you guys take music reviewing seriously. If all you guys dropped were positive reviews it would make it seem like you guys were just handing out participation trophies
This album is trash and I didn't expect you guys to review it. But I agree that Unforgettable was by far the best track and definitely a hit. It's all about the production for French, nothing else to his music.
TheDonOfUK1 i disagree. i think it's all about the feature. never really heard him carry a song by himself and he sounds like a feature on all of his best songs
I'm on Feefo's side tbh. I understand it's very time consuming but you should aim to review as many albums as you can. If something's trash let it be known. Feefo's the "bump in the whip" dude. He's the element the other three of you don't speak on. So it's necessary for Feefo to suggest an album I would have expected to "bump in the whip". I guess it's a different scenario if you guys aimed to only review a very limited number of albums per month and this took the slot of something that could have been more intriguing.
I agree with Feefo. There has to be some negative reviews as well as positive reviews. Fantano recently posted a video on this and I agree with whats said in that video. I appreciate it when some of you guys can say that an album is trash and let us know your thoughts.
We are living in the age of the producer where the artist doesn't necessarily have to be good or creative they just have to ride the beat and mumble along and let the vibe of the beat carry the song.
"Khaled is like Nick Fury. The one time he had to fight they blew his whole shit up and he went to hide. He's nothing without The Avengers." 🤔🤓☠️ #factsb
I appreciate this review, it's dope dehh also includes main stream releases like French. The contrast of opinions makes for dope conversation even if it's just mike and Ken roasting the project. I'm a REFORMED hip hop snob/ backpacker and I've grown to like French it's all about context and there's a time for everything. Man feefo keep make suggestions like this it's important to have diversity of sound and represent all aspects of hip hop on dehh especially that bump in the whip shit
For the question about French's fan base i feel like his demographic consists of radio rap fans and people who were looking for something to fill the void Dipset left when they broke up. Though he isn't in my opinion anywhere nearly as good. Being almost consistently featured on some mainstream hip-hop artists singles also is enough to keep people interested. Ask nearly any rap fan from the New York tri-state area and they will probably be able to point you in the direction of French songs that are actually pretty good. His mixtapes are bearable at worst with projects like Coke Boys 3 being one of my personal favorites, but with a majority of the DEHH crew having the taste that they do French is just honestly not anything yall should spend energy into. He has his lane, and he provides consistently for fans of that lane.
that joint juelz and cam dropped with him a few months ago was basically unbearable for like a minute and a half, i don't see the appeal but i kinda get what you're saying. his shit poppin' tho, it's wtv
of every person i've ever met from NY, Jersey, Philly all that they always got a french tape in rotation. never fails. But everyone got different tastes so go you.
Project you guys could review Nyck @ Knight Renaissance - Underachievers 12 - A$AP Twelvyy The Autobiography - Vic Mensa Ghosts - Ash Riser Good for You - Aminé
IsaiahChavezCA French isn't new, but I know what you mean. Terrible music is subjective and objective but I never gave a shit about French Montana. He's like the one rapper in the world we wouldn't care about if he disappeared into the darkness.
Poor Feefo had that look when everyone ganged up on him like, "I'll never suggest anything ever again!" For a future a review I would love something outside the box like Nitty Scott, M.C.'s newest album, "Creature".
Part of being a reviewer of anything means you are going to have experience things you don't like and then talk about them. Explain to your audience why you don't like that thing you experienced. Tt is your job as a reviewer to put out opinions that we value as your audience so that we make informed decisions on experiencing that thing. So you thought it was dog shit, and you were mad that you had to experience it, but that's your job. Get off Feefo's ass.
Based on this Review, I tried listening to one French Montana track - and I couldn't get through it, turning it off half way. So big props for listening to the whole album guys - that is a mission, a chore, a test of mental fortitude.
Pretty sure that unforgettable was always swae lees song. He was gonna give it to jeremih and that's where French first heard it. Jeremih didn't want to use it tho so that's why French got it from swae, then he had to clear the song from swae. It's a little detail but just wanted to let you know
Yeet Sack noooo dont confuse yourself. Jeremih created the song with his camp and French payed for it SIMPLE. It doesnt help that it sounds EXACTLY more like a typical Jeremih sung song waaaaaaay over any Sway Lee or French song ever made.
The best way to describe this album is that it's club music like literally you put this on in the car on the way to the club. You hear it in the club and that's it like. This and Bodak yellow are literally the same lane. People won't just like it, you have to be in a mood for this
Myke gets mad at Feefo for suggesting an album he don't love even tho he was the one that suggested Clipping's first album even tho he didn't really love it🤔
Mix tape FRench is the reason & aseptically Excuse my French...& he's within the same demo as Meek/Ross...people who fuc wid the MMG sound like French but we don't take him seriously for Bars
I feel like French Montana speaks to people who are only into hip hop on a cursory level. They just started getting into hip hop and need someone whose lyrics they can get and understand. It doesn't seem that bad because they can't compare it to much yet.
This is one of my favourite reviews...when I look for something to laugh at this is my go to! when Mike said "Do people like hotel bathroom, do people fuck with that song"
And nobody likes French Montana but some older guys who are in their late 20s early 30s. New York pushes his music crazy on the radio because he is cool with radio show hosts like Funk Flex, Ebro, etc.

Would love to see you guys review Due Rent by Lojii & Swarvy. It hasn't gotten a lot of coverage but I think it's one of the best hip hop albums of 2017.
As a 22 year old, I can tell you guys that French Montana is popular because he has big hit singles, his mixtapes have built a huge following, and he usually features or is featured on big singles with popular artists like Drake, Khaled, etc.
Never been a French Montana fan. BUT, he did surprise me with the project that came before this, MC4. Thought that album was fire with the exception of maybe 2 joints. Disappointed that album got shelved and this was the album that was released instead.
I felt really bad for feefo here, They spent more time shitting on Feefo than reviewing this album. it's cool to have reviews on trash albums too man. They went too hard on him like ''he better like this album or I'm gonna ...'' damn man!
15:45 The point of a french album is to make money off of the singles. The rest is mostly filler. Its really just math and proven ways to get easy sales. Labels slide these songs into spotify radio playlists and services like that (streams are sales)and "manufacture" a hit. If the song is at the top of the chart in terms of "sales" people generally stream it even more because.. well its been streamed millions of times. Its like paying for your web page to be at the top of the search results when you google something. Its just the labels recycling the same song different ways to make profit.
Unforgettable was huge because of the rollout. He made sure it was gonna be a huge international hit. Even the video was overseas and full of foreign kids. I'm not saying that was a marketing ploy but...I'm not saying it's not a marketing ploy lol. Besides that, I don't think people mess with French in general, dude only did 52000 with the biggest song in the world.
I think its good they reviewed this album, even tho I'm not a fan of french montana but I think its very good they review different artist even if they don't like it. William Hicks Listen to Jay Burrito's podcast, Myke talked about the album and he was disappointed by i and wasn't a fan of his singing. Sucks too cuz I really enjoyed the album
Tyler King album is very mediocre. The first track was the only one I really fuck with. Vic should stick to that style then coming off corny with emotional tracks
Lol this is awesome! Yall being too hard on Feefo. I have been skeptical. Even when Joe Budden says it was good I was like eehhhhh nah! Same with the new Meek Mill album. I am just waiting for Cyhi to drop. I hope he does so soon.
This video is actually more of a review of feefo than french montana.
Guys, negative reviews are Essentialllll

all albums deserve a review, everyones tastes are uniqye
French Montana should just work behind the scenes because he's great at picking beats and getting features but dang man he just brings down every track he's on.
Nicholas Katsikas He used to be good pre-2013 after "Excuse My French" he fell off
L
so you're saying he's pretty much DJ Khaled 2.0 lol
French deadass sounds like a feature in every single one of his songs
AffroSoul birdman*
French Montana is one of the worst commercial artists to date. He is steeped in genericism, can't rap and depends on hot features.
Myke shitted on Feefo. Okay, I'm 25 attend GSU and ain't nobody listening to French Montana outside his singles
SimbaRyan Grambling?
Feefo: it bumps in the whip

This album is trash and I didn't expect you guys to review it. But I agree that Unforgettable was by far the best track and definitely a hit. It's all about the production for French, nothing else to his music.
TheDonOfUK1 And his features which carry the crap out of him. French is forgettable on Unforgettable ;).
TheDonOfUK1 i disagree. i think it's all about the feature. never really heard him carry a song by himself and he sounds like a feature on all of his best songs
Jeeses99 how is an album average if it's best song's good part is the hook from a feature lmao
john paul nah. French's best songs are on his mixtapes. Particularly the ones he did with Harry Fraud.
Jeeses99 you kids definitely didn't listen to the album if u think unforgettable is the best song on the album. The album is garbage tho
French sounds like a feature on his own songs
Feefo ain't ever gonna request an album ever again 😂
Love it when these guys shit on albums.
What the... was not expecting this lol
At all. I saw this in my sub box and hit the white guy blinking gif 😂
Saw Myke listening to it on Instagram and instantly knew he was being forced to for a review lmao.

I'm 21 and I don't mess with this lol. I think he remains relevant because of the heavy cosigns he gets on other artist's tracks

Rei Gon I miss savage myke he too nice now
Myke gets mad at Feefo for suggesting an album he don't love even tho he was the one that suggested Clipping's first album even tho he didn't really love it🤔
I’m crying this was another DEHH vs Feefo video 😭
I've never met a fan of his in my life
i'm one of his fans
Why does French Montana always sound like the feature for his own songs?
I'm surprised they did this wack album. But salute to DEHH. Y'all been putting in hella work. Respect
I'm 18 and I've never met a French Montana fan in my entire life
Is this a review or a DEHH meeting session lol
This has actually been one of the most entertaining reviews!!!
Man y'all can't hate that I picked this album to bump in the whip man
DAMN. y'all hit over 200k subscribers CONGRATZ🙏🏽🙏🏽
Ever since Myke compared DJ Khaled to Nick Fury, now I can't stop picturing DJ Khaled in my head with an eyepatch on.
For that avengers analysis I HAD to give this video a like!
Im from the uk. unforgettable has been getting played multiple times a day on multiple different radio stations for weeks
yo i can’t believe people out here spending money to buy this album but don’t got 1$ for DEHH patreon
What did Ken say at 4:54 that made everyone laugh?
Mix tape FRench is the reason & aseptically Excuse my French...& he's within the same demo as Meek/Ross...people who fuc wid the MMG sound like French but we don't take him seriously for Bars
This was long overdue. Feefo deserves every bit of this. With his bumping in the whip ass.
Unforgettable is a nice summer joint, but that's it,Album totally unforgettable , as usual Mike C Town is spot on,Kinge, bro that beard ,REALLY!
I feel like French Montana speaks to people who are only into hip hop on a cursory level. They just started getting into hip hop and need someone whose lyrics they can get and understand. It doesn't seem that bad because they can't compare it to much yet.

I don't think theres anything wrong with reviewing rappers they don't like. The more variety the better.
Would love to see you guys review Due Rent by Lojii & Swarvy. It hasn't gotten a lot of coverage but I think it's one of the best hip hop albums of 2017.
Ken is turning into Captain Morgan.
As a 22 year old, I can tell you guys that French Montana is popular because he has big hit singles, his mixtapes have built a huge following, and he usually features or is featured on big singles with popular artists like Drake, Khaled, etc.
im sure someone else corrected it but just incase when feefo was saying about Unforgettable.. it was a Swae Lee song with Wizkid, Jeremih wrote to it.
Never been a French Montana fan. BUT, he did surprise me with the project that came before this, MC4. Thought that album was fire with the exception of maybe 2 joints. Disappointed that album got shelved and this was the album that was released instead.
welcome to a DEHH ironing issues featuring a french montana review.
Feeefo one question: But do it bump in the whip?
French always sound like a feature on his own songs.
I felt really bad for feefo here, They spent more time shitting on Feefo than reviewing this album. it's cool to have reviews on trash albums too man. They went too hard on him like ''he better like this album or I'm gonna ...'' damn man!

They already arguing who suggest this album in the beginning lol, its going to be a good review
Myke you gonna review that new Milo album? Shits pretty good
lmAo ken really just said the most interesting thing abt french is tryna figure out why anyone would find him interesting
Ken looks like he calls remote controls "TV clickers".
Are y'all gonna do Anonymuz's Urameshi EP?
I think its good they reviewed this album, even tho I'm not a fan of french montana but I think its very good they review different artist even if they don't like it. But I was shocked to get the notification and see they reviewed french montana it made me laugh and I just knew Feefo was the one that suggested it lls
this is why i like watching your videos you have a WIDE RANGE of opinions.
What about Meeks album
Would like that review too but unlikely to happen
Feefos twitter isn't linked in the description, just a heads up!
Don't feel bad. Y'all listening to shitty albums makes for a hell of a review
The irony of an album with a lead song called unforgettable being so forgettable.
Alright guys WOOOO! Another review!
are you guys gonna review the two new Shabazz Palaces albums?
Review Vic Mensa's new album
Myke hates it but I don't know everybody else it will be interesting to see what they think of it.
JT Parker really?
JT Parker I can see Myke hating it. It has a LOT of corny lines. There were a couple of DOPE ass tracks tho, so maybe they will
William Hicks Listen to Jay Burrito's podcast, Myke talked about the album and he was disappointed by i and wasn't a fan of his singing. Sucks too cuz I really enjoyed the album
Tyler King album is very mediocre. The first track was the only one I really fuck with. Vic should stick to that style then coming off corny with emotional tracks
We haven't gotten this Myke in awhile lmaaaaaaoooooo!
I wish ya had reviewed Kemba Negus. Why didn't you mention that FEFO WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
French has benefitted from being a New York rapper and his affiliations beyond that he always gets some major hits and his album sales are pedestrian
Y'all gonna do imperious rex???
Lol this is awesome! Yall being too hard on Feefo. I have been skeptical. Even when Joe Budden says it was good I was like eehhhhh nah! Same with the new Meek Mill album. I am just waiting for Cyhi to drop. I hope he does so soon.
The only thing surprising about this review is that they even did it. Hope yall do that new Twelvyy album.
Speaking of Russ, i'd love to hear what you guys think of his album There's Really a Wolf.
