I was 3 in the 2011 Tuscaloosa tornado and I remember it all vividly James was on the tv and I was playing with my toys and then all of a sudden I get up to to look outside and the clouds were all black and then there was a loud siren and then my dad grabbed me and ran

One of my employee's family lives in down here. I knew these storms were forcasted, and asked him if his family was alright. his reply was "They're good. They turn on Span and sleep tight"

James Spann is like watching a professor teaching an advanced graduate school course in tornado meteorology. He is that good.

Thanks James for all those weather stories through the years! They're have been some big ones to forecaste such as the tornadoes outbreak in April2011. I will never forget those terrible day and days that followed. Again James thanks for keeping us informed!
