- Live coverage of a severe thunderstorm/tornado event across North Alabama during the pre-dawn hours Saturday April 1, 2023. James Spann and Evan Chickvara in the studio.
James is an absolute legend, working night shift like it was nothing. He doesn't even seem to care he enjoys it. True passionate person and I like how he remains calm at all time with people around him even in critical situations such as a tornado in a city or town. A lot of meteorologist gets anxious and gets very ... impatient with the team around them, by example getting impatient at the person who controls the TV images or the person who controls the radar because they don't react in a quarter of a second.
Like '' GOGOGO !, LETS GO CONTROL ROOM TAKE STEVES SHOT!'' James keeps the atmosphere under control and its so important.
For anyone that wants to grow up to be a meteorologist, Watch james spaan in perticular april 2011 coverage. That day was a day for the history books and james saved many lives that day. A true hero and i salute him for his bravery and extensive in depth coverage. You can never prepare for something like that
An incredible meteorologist who doesn't seem to age a bit--either in looks or energy. If you look back to Spann's coverage of April 2011, he might even look younger today, lol! A great man to whom many people in Alabama owe their lives.
James is the best meteroligist ever. he keeps people safe and covers diffrent televison markets like its nothing.
I have been homeless for going on 8 years and this is the worst I have have ever been in I’m glad to bed safe! Prayers go out to all!
I’m proud of you for having a UA-cam account
27:30 Thats why James is a legend.
We people in hamilton were having a party! 🎉🎉🎉
I live in Birmingham, and I guarantee to everyone who doesn't completely understand that James Spann is the most trusted man in Alabama. He could come out on TV and say that's its gonna rain soup, and we'd be outside with bowls
It is Spann Time
He saved lives bro, saved lives. I was literally in clinton nearby Fulton, Dude even at school I had to do the tornado thing, again he saved lives hes a legend
You were at school in the middle of the night?
I like the thumbnail. It's like James is yelling at the storms haha
Aw seeing that baby with the helmet on😞😞💔 so sad and scary. That child’s little face 😞. Breaks my heart. 1:03:58 I hope they were okay.
Its true, i was knocked out at 8 am on a saturday. And the weather radio blasted into my ears and woke me up instantly, and it was on the other side of my bedroom
In Birmingham, Alabama, if severe weather hits, you watch James Spann!
And yet again hit by a tornado 😭😭😭😭😭
Omg I was almost dead!!!!!
Here is the story:one time during a normal sunny day on this day when it was 7:10 my dad saw on Alexa that there was a tornado 🌪 so when I notice something on the weather reports where the first tornado was I was close to guy don't worry I survived
Not talking about this video I'm talking about Like time

I enjoyed listening to Evan too! Taylor is good at what she does, but Evan’s conversational/presentational style is more fluid and has more content to it, while Taylor repeats more than James does.
Around 2:25:45 you can hear james getting tired in his voice.
Where's Taylor? ☹
She rarely works on night shifts she works all day long. I only saw her one time at night. Maybe she got kids or something and must take care of them.
Her husband was plowing her
@@StayPrimal She had the weekend off.
You sure this wasn’t a joke?
