Hey I have also Applied my Assessment centre is on the 12th of June. I am soo keen and Excited. Glad your back from your injury and driving again. Awesome Videos. the City / burbs is a fav of mine
Hey mate love your videos. I’ve applied for this job and have done all my pre medical. We’ll say your videos are helpful in learning how to approach certain situations and how much different they are to a car. That’ll be the big learning curve if I get the role. Hopefully I’ll see you out on the road in the not to distant future
The new Volvo E busses? I've had 3 weeks off due to a back injury and haven't been trained on those yet, I'm sure it wont be to long until that happens... I'll get it done as soon as I am :)
@@busman108 Will look forward to it! My local bus company (Hornibrook) has 16 of them, the drivers I’ve talked to that have driven them all say they are great! Good driver safety too, driver cabin door has an electromagnet to lock it.
It's weird that the indicators on the exterior of the bus don't flash in sync with the indicator display on the dashboard. Is that a common occurrence?
Hey mate in training school at the moment for tfb. Your videos are a big help in checking out how you approach stops and deal with cyclists etc. Keep up the good work and any advice for a new driver? Cheers mate.
G'day mate, biggest tip is to take your time. You'll get very efficient with the runs over time, but never get stressed if you're running late. First 3 - 6 months will mentally drain you, but if you stick through that period it becomes the easiest job you'll ever have! On cyclists, yeah I'm not afraid to straddle lanes (when safe) to get around them. Indicators are key :D Share the videos with your class if you wish, one of the reasons I put these videos out is for some of the newer drivers to look at :)
@@busman108 Cheers man that’s some good advice. There’s a lot to take in and it’s harder than I first though but I’m loving it so far. I’ve heard from a few people it’ll take at least 6 months to take it all in and feel like your any good at it. Once I’ve passed the school and route training I’ll see you on the road. Cheers again man, love the videos.

You're very welcome, the Council is screaming for drivers at the moment. I'm sure you'll pass through with flying colours! :)
Bus man is back

The training school is fantastic, by the end of the 6 weeks you'll be a pro. :)
@@busman108 thanks Mate nervous and excited
sweet driving mate, thanks for the vids!
This is a pretty good way to see Brisbane on the internet 👍 nice
Im glad your on the road
Any tips on how to memorise the routes please?
Well driven.
1:33 what bus was that
Nvm just saw p211
Will you post videos more regularly now your back
4k edition should be up in an hour
Nice view
19:25 having no barriers on the bridge promotes head one collisions.
Probably, but there is no room on the bridge to put the barriers. If they shut a lane off each side the traffic would be out of this world heh :)
Can you do a video on E1596 or E1597?
