Not Ukrainian, but I grew up doing this for Easter! My siblings and I would go out and gather as many leaves and small flowers we could find to cover the eggs. I love seeing how the color from the plants sometimes stained the eggs, adding greens and purples to the rich brown.

Thats so neat, I would get strawberry leaves in Ukraine for decorations.
