Great video about real Ukrainian tradition to celebrate Easter! I chose your video as a teaching one for my high school students for online lesson. I'm a teacher of English from Energodar school. We are forced to teach our students online. Because of the circumstances of war our native town is occupied and 60 percent of the citizens have left it. I think your video will unite everyone who is not at home now, because we all have a common tradition, because we all are Ukrainians! The relationships in your family are touching, health to the whole family!
This was beautiful. Thank you for sharing. My family is Ukrainian, emigrated to the US. My baba and guido have passed away, and I am trying to recover some of our family heritage and traditions. Praying for all of Ukraine now and hope to one day visit.
The nicest thing I have heard about the Ukraine since the beginning of the war over a year ago! What beautiful traditions, and what a nice church and lovely landscape! Here in Chiang Mai, Thailand, we also have various kinds of gift baskets that we give to monks and to people for all kinds of occasions, and hill tribe people, many of which are Christians, have many customs to do with Easter eggs that predated their conversion. We don't have such a beautiful spring, though - it goes straight from winter to summer! We have flowers on bare trees, AFTER most of the cool-climate flowers have dried up, because the trees lose their leaves due to lack of rain.
Slava Ukraini, my grandparents (mum's side, emigrated to UK, post WW2) both passed away now, my mother's brother passed a year this coming January, my mother and I keep our Ukrainian traditions and upbringing alive.
Lovely film- Nice to continue such beautiful traditions.
Дуже дякую за відео. Хай Бог дасть Здоров’я вам і вашу Бабусю.
Дуже друкую вам, це мене навчило багато
