Which tips resonated with you the most? What are some things you do to cheer yourself up when you’re on a losing streak? Remember, trading is a journey, not a destination. And if you’re currently on a losing streak, trust that this too, will pass.💪🏼
When I'm losing I just watch a video and hit the like button to cheer up. ;) Seriously though, I walk away and get some housework done, ignore the market for a couple hours and then go back refreshed and look at what the overall picture looks like.
Tracking each trade, amount of risk taken for each trade! I track my trades differently but I think I will start using a bar chart 📊 Y-axis: Profit, X-axis: risk taken! Monthly-Weekly-Daily Chart! I am a gym rat! so I spend my time working out bc success is attractive!
Becoming a good trader takes time and patience. I was liquidated twice and lost my mortgage deposit when I started, but instead of giving up, I learned and practiced trading. Four years later, I'm glad I did. $430k accumulated till date.
Wow, this is excellent! As a beginner, it can be challenging to keep up with all this information. How do you stay informed? You must be an experienced trader with many years of experience to be that profitable.
Exactly! I was managing my own portfolio but faced big losses in 2022, so I sought help from a fiduciary advisor. By restructuring and diversifying my $600k portfolio with dividend-paying stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, and REITs, I achieved an average annual gain of 38%.
I'm cautious about giving specific recommendations since everyone's situation varies, but I've worked with "Melissa Elise Robinson" for 6 years and highly recommend her. Look her up to see if she meets your criteria.

What I do after a big loss is to do paper trading. The market makers and retail investors can shift in or out of tickers instantly. So paper trading helps me regain some confidence and understand the market again. Not knowing the market means losses
Thanks Shey. I went from making $1000 a day daily to loosing everything and blowing up several accounts cus of my bad habits. Now I make $50 a day with $10 max loss and I have been consistent this way. No big swings no hurry. Time pays . Compounding!
Literally dealing with all of this. 80% drawdown since starting 3 months ago. 50% of that happened within the past week. Felt so low and I’ve been such a bad person to my family. Broke all the rules even tho the resources I’ve had were disgustingly abundant. Thank you.
Totally needed this too. Took a couple days off after trading on tilt. Didn't blow up the account, but rather chased every single trade. The days that I take off and miss out on trading makes me feel like I'm wasting time/ opportunities in the market, so it puts me on edge still. It's a difficult balance & I'm still learning. Anyone else feels that way?
Of course, me too. If I take a break, I feel like I am wasting time....idk, I feel worthless, if I don't trade when the market open. I need to let go of that mentality.
This last week was my first. 2 green and 3 bad bad red days. I hadn't tilted like that in ages. Really need to stand over my own shoulder as a coach and pause before I get pulled into over trading rip current because I was green decently every one of those 5 days despite that crazy schizophrenic market we had.
@@tjhammer24 Happens to the best of us! Hope you took a couple days off and/or size down just to get your confidence back. That's exactly what I'm doing. Keep going 💪
@@LASiow I tend to scalp in 60 minutes target TP/SL +/-0.33% for each position. Maximum 1% loss per day i must quit. In least 3 battles for each, I wait for a right time for best moment I pull trigger. For this, I more emphasize the right moment than the time I feel I waste. Thx for the vid. I expierenced all the phases of trading: losing etc etc. Another tip for beginners if you have losing strikes. Open a small account for 100 dollar and start trading again to regain your selfconfidence! And...there is no fast way to earn money. It takes time: it's a marathon instead of the 100 meter run. And you have to live for 3 years like nobody want to do . To do later on what other people can't do. I subscribed, great channel. Greetz from the Netherlands
my best week so far. made a plan, was patient when entering a trade, didnt chase, set a stop loss and didnt change it. focus on compounding instead of quick money and saw a hugeeeeee gain in my trades but i also really changed my mental thinking and really put more focus onto LEARNING Instead of copying others trades.
I really needed this right now! I enjoy watching all your videos and learn quite a bit. Still having a hard time with stops and size in contracts. I believe I will take a break and see what I can do to rebuild ! Thank you for all you share.
Thank you for the video. Just had one of those days today. No confidence, fomo, nervous, forced trades all losers. Video showed up just in time. I don't have to trade everyday, but I am just starting out and was successful in paper money. Real money is where the experience is gained. Will not quit just have to make adjustments to my trading plan. Using the VWAP on my charts, clean and simple to use.
I am so appreciative that you have spent the time to share your experience, instruction, and wisdom regarding day trading, it has been a great benefit to me. Thank you!
Months ago, I started trading and loosing a lot everytime. Then I took a break and study harder and use demo accts until I get my confidence again... Thanks for this sharing this video Humbled Trader.
I really appreciate the instruction to lower the lot size. I hate it when I win the next trade because I don’t recover much, but it does help my confidence. Thanks, HT!
I played 0tde options for the first time and averaged down way too much. Lost 70 percent of my account. I will learn and grow. Thanks for clearing my eyes and helping me snap out of it. I win or I learn. I’ve only been doing this for 2 years. Appreciate this video and you have beautiful eyes !
I've been watching your channel since I started trading 6 months ago. When I started trading I got very lucky which is not a good thing...I made 10k quickly and lost it even faster...It was a wake up call because I went on a losing streak after that and then had fear of trading and losing more. I had a plan before I traded each day but I didn't stick to them because of fear and I was investing way to much at once. My plans worked great only issue was I wasn't sticking to them cause my risk management was off and losses got to my head. This video is perfect for anybody going threw losing streaks, once I lowered my amount I was investing I was able to stick to my trading plan and get back on the horse!
Good tips. Beginner here on day trading. Sizing down after a losing day really hits home. The same goes for taking a break. I decided to spend the next day observing where I would get in or out and how that would play out during the session without actually placing a trade. Learning the system so I can become better.
Thank you very much? I am going through this situation now. Since my father's death, losses have been going on constantly until I started to lose confidence in myself
