I would go to church just to here our roots music. No show, pretense, people running up and down the ailse wanting to seen. This is real worship. Beautifu!
As a Young Leader and the word of god i grew up to this and i thank god for what he have done in my life i cant do nothing but give the lord some glory!! This is the Music that people need to understand and be able to accept all god Childrens say amen
Gone Sir Conductor in your orange suit! Notice the feet tapping sounds like train tracks and their groove of their voices sounds like the chug of a train moving...splendid. Their harmony is amazing and this is a congregation. I have been in church with people dotting pitchy notes all over the place. Love their chords.
Remember all we had back in the day was a Song and a Prayer!! Nothing like these Old Soul Stirring Hymns!! My God! My God! Going Home on that Morning Train!
I love how one person jumps in, then another. Sharing the space and not being rude but expressing community. Existing within their community. Nowadays people are so self-centered.
i want to be at one of these programs...hymnchoir need to get a mailing list and let me know when you gonna be going down........seriously...let me know!!!

These are songs closely aligned with traditional folk spirituals of the Antebellum South when Africans in slavery relied on body engagement (clapping, stomping) more frequently when their drums were destroyed by slaveholders.

When is there Choir anniversary held??
In March
People in church have instrument in the church
Is there a reason for no instruments? I know the Church of Christ doesn't use instruments.
Hunty, there are instruments...their feet are the percussion section.
