I loved to hear my family from Chester sing. Many have gone on but never forgotten! They praised God the same way whether in church, home, family reunion or coming to Durham and singing for the late great Essie B Walker Kennedy. I can hear her, Aunt Emma, and the late Aunt Ethae Mae Moore and Carmen Kennedy now on the side line. We had chuch!!
Like it I love it I'm a PK that had gone astray but GOD in his great mercy did not strike me down in my sin. And this song takes me back to how they use too have real church !!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!
Every time I watch this video I'm taken back to my youth and the Walker Family Reunions in Chester, SC when my Grandmother Essie B. Kennedy was living. Good fellowship, good singing, and good food!
I was just at Brown Chapel, right down the road from Mt. Do-Well! I had no idea they were in the same area, and got happy when I drove past Mt. Do-Well, lol! This song is truly a blessing!
I can listen to these songs all and/or everyday. Any more please find out and send them out. I feel more of the Holy Spirit with these songs and encouragement.
I am so excited that I found this song. I listened to it a few years ago and somehow could not find it again. This really blesses my soul.Thank you Jesus

I hope that I am not mistaken, but I think that is Bonnie Guy! I grew up with his son and I remember Bunny Guy real well! Go head Mr, Guy. May you spirit live on in this Song!
What a blessing this is to me. I was listening to this for the first time at 11:00pm a few year back when I got a call that our pastors wife had just passed away. I know God sent me a message!
My God, My God, My God. Does this particular church, yet have services today, in the fashion, they're having on this video clip. If so, the churches in the big cities, does not have anything on these types of churches in the "Deep Down South." I can just see my grandparents now, singing shoutin and praising God the "Old Time Way." Not only that, but the Senior male, Pops is singing his entire soul and spirit. Also, the right along his side is the mother, clapping and singing. God Bless
