I am South Mississippi born and raised, and truly miss the days that we all went to Jackson, MS and went to hear them at their annual performance (one of the biggest), I knew several members of the MMC, and miss those days very much. ANY TIME I NEED TO SHOUT, I COME BACK TO THESE OLD SONGS. OR IF MY SOUL NEEDS UPLIFTED, I GO TO THEM.... THEM HEAVENLY HIGHWAY HYMNALS, THOSE OLD BLOOD SONGS.

Lord, have mercy to-day! This is some down home gospel music! I'm not from the south, however, my parents are southerners, and I was born on the west coast. I miss this music in the church so much because it had a way of speaking to ones soul, someone testifying, and someone giving their life to Christ. Not because of the music but so much of wanting to be right with Jesus!
