    love your videos dude! you're so helpful! idk why toners confuse me so much , but so after bleaching when you apply do you avoid the Root ? and I see you applied all over was her brown base natural ? it worked beautifully

    This is so helpful you're a star...Question..what if they wanted their roots done or a root stretch but some balayage pieces close to the root?

      Kobi Lynx put the color on there base firat and go in with balyage after

      I have painted over a lighter base on light hair, but when I try on natural base 5 ish it goes super brassy,im guessing foils are the only option..Back comb foils then open the foils and brush colour in when i do the base?

    • @LexiDawnMcc
      @LexiDawnMcc  6 років тому

      I had a few videos doing something with a root color and lightener but yes when the color and lightener meet it tends to get more brassy. What you could do is use a green based toner on those sections and tone it out or go in with a higher developer there and the rest of the Balayage with a lower one.

      Ohhh I like both ideas...Great tips...I use Wella and Loreal at home and Goldwell in the salon which is dont actually like..But I will defo look into a green based toner xxx

    Hi, I am trying to grow my hair out and I was wondering as a licensed cosmetologist what products you would recommend that help maintain length and protect from mechanical and chemical damage?

    • @LexiDawnMcc
      @LexiDawnMcc  6 років тому +2

      you need to keep your hair hydrated so i recommend using a leave in conditioner and oil after you shower and to also get regular trims to keep your hair from having split ends.

    What do you do long term for someone who has A LOT. Of gray at the roots that needs frequent root touch ups?

    I have really orangy brassy hair. Want to tone it but idk if this will work because my hair came out lighter then hers after bleaching so should I use 9v 9n ? Can this cancel out orangy hair ?

    • @AshtenOriginals
      @AshtenOriginals 4 роки тому

      Definitely use a violet based color if you’re wanting to cancel out the orange.

    Beautiful. Do you have any examples of a dark brunette with a natural bayalage chocolate/caramel color. Would love to see that.
