Hi there! Great video tutorial. I wanted to know what you use for creating the yellow markings in the video. Is that done live while recording? If so, is it some plugin for OBS (or whatever so desktop recording software you use?) . I have been looking for good solutions on that topic since do it in editting after recording is always such a big hustle but for tut videos its a musthave Thank you in advance
Its a combo of live drawing on the screen using this software learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/zoomit and some done in the editing, Camtasia.
There are 2 options (as of writing this) Just look for the "take clapper" button in the sequencer. 1) Use the Movie Render Que dev.epicgames.com/community/learning/courses/Aq/unreal-engine-movie-render-queue-essentials/mZB/unreal-engine-movie-render-queue-essentials-startup-prerequisites 2) Use the old Legacy rendering system. Both have their pros/cons
Question: after you drag the two sequences into the master sequence, how do you render them out and have the two different camera names embedded in the naming of the render?
@@Cleverlike to embed the camera name for each camera into the render output naming convention, make a sequencer for each camera. Then put the cameras name into MRQ naming output.
Hi, I'm able to follow the steps to create a master sequence but what happens for me is there's no thumbnail on the clips, they're just grey. When I try to play them nothing happens.
@@Cleverlike you know, it's weird. It ended up working and I don't think I did anything to fix it (it was on Friday). Maybe it just needed time to update all the thimbnails
@@Cleverlike yeah, I took another look today and I think what it takes is going into the LS within the master sequence, then playing the shot. When I close UE I think it resets again to an empty thumbnail, and then I have to retrigger everything by playing each shot individually.
Thank you so much for this guide! Needed to do something like this for an Assignment and you just helped me finish it! Thanks a lot!
Nice! Glad we could help. :)
I don´t do it often so i came back a few times, really nice thank you!
Great to hear!
helpful, exactly what I needed!! Blessings to you, my helper.
That's awesome to hear. :D
Been looking for this, simple and to the point, thank you :D
Thanx. Glad we could help. :)

Finally a simple tutorial on how to do sequences in UE5. I have a question, how do you render your sequences once you are done?

Not possible as far as know. Though if you find an answer post it here please. :)

Ahh, nice. Thanx for sharing. You rock!

At what time of the tutorial are you getting stuck? I think I know what's happening but I want to be sure. :)

lol, go figure. Unplug and plug it back in, right? Thanx for getting back to us. :)
