Hey, working on learning these assist combos, having trouble with the ender starting after the 236L. There's so many S presses/holds that my fingers get confused. Do you hold S for the three ki blasts or press it three times? How can you tell when you've done all three? Any advice would be appreciated. Also, I can't seem to find a non--c assist with S broly that gives a combo. Thanks for all the work you put in to this guide and all the others!
As long as your inputs are clean it's fine. For j236L~S you can just input 236L and tap S and you'll go into flight and then you have plenty of time to hold S for the three jS. Shortly after the first hit you hold forward so you can let go of S and press it again to get the 6S and then you just use the airdash macro to cancel into warp.

The j2H knockdown isn't long enough to set up BoJ. BoJ only comboes from mid-flight Slashes and 236H

, how are you canceling 236L~S and then getting the 3(S)?? It doesnt seem to cancel fast enough
I tap Special while the enemy is getting his by 236L to cancel into flight, immediately let go and then press S again for the ki blasts once the lightning hits.

When I try to use BoJ after the 236H in the Midscreen BNB combo, I am always to high up to hit the enemy. Did the recent patch change this combo?
The combo still works, BoJ just whiffs if youre too close to the corner. You need to use 236H closer to the ground with a different route if you end near the corner

The three ki blasts are actually a 3s not just a 5s, then after that it should connect easier into the 6s.

Hi, at 16:48 right after the 1 beam in to j236ls, how do you perform the flying forward fS(3)? My 3 beams are in the air but stationary… How do I make him do the flying forward 3 beams?
You just start holding forwards after you hold Special for the Ki Blasts. Bit tricky to get used to

I’m having a hard time getting the sideswitch on the Midscreen BnB. Any advice ?
Make sure youre jump cancelling forwards for both the jump after 5M and the jMLL, other than that its just a matter of delaying the buttons enough. Play around with the timing of the double jump too
Advanced corner Bnb is very difficult to consistently land the timing. Ive been able to land it a few times, but compared to other characters, its a lot of effort for the damage it gives, when fusions are so easy to combo. Im getting tired of seeing everyone rely on easy ssb gogeta combos.
I feel like a moron, I'm trying the midscreen bnb over and over and over and it seems like no matter what I do the j236s literally never connects after LLS(3). I have tried dozens of times and have literally no clue what I'm doing wrong, I've tried speeding up and slowing down and delaying different inputs and just can't do it. This character seems so fun but I am apparently too dogshit to learn him lmao
Do the j236s while the last S(3) hits.
As the other commenter said, you can input the 236 motion while youre holding S for the three Ki Blasts. It should be something like jLLS, hold S, once the second hit is done input 236, let go of jS so that the third Ki Blast comes out still and then just tap it again
To learn da stagger block strings should I put da dummy on guard all instead of guard first only
Just guard all, there is no good way to efficiently practice staggers on a dummy unfortunately. You just get a feel for how late you can string something together and then test it against whoever you fight next.

When i do 214M>SD, it wont super dash immediately, it just fly, because i input "S+B" buttons to super dash, that means i input "S" after 214M. This makes it difficult to the "Midscreen Beam Assist" combo
well if you just wait until 214M recovery has finished you should still have time to connect the superdash, but I do agree it is a bit unfortunate

Yeah it kind of just keeps the enemy in place for a bit, so the pop up combos should work with it.
