When I was about 10 years old playing the black ops campaign I remember not understanding what the game wanted from me in the Vietnam mission. The part where you needed to take back the trenches going downhill by stabbing the barrels and kicking them had me confused for about 1-2 hours. I kept walking all the way down to the bottom of the hill where there would be a gold glowing object on the ground and never understood what I was supposed to do with the golden thing on the ground. Eventually I walked up to the barrels and was like “😲😯😐😑🤦🏽♂️😡🤬🤬🤬” I find it funny that it took someone who is 22 years old about half a dozen attempts and help from thousands of people just to figure out he needed to stab the barrels.
This dude's playing on a top notch PC and the game glitches more than when I played it on my ps3.. The textures were fucked especially during the Vietnam missions

I mean there's no real reason to believe that. Just because you grind everyday for a goal that takes place it doesn't mean you made it happen to some arbitrary number of 90% by yourself. You wouldn't say that to someone who grinds the lottery. You actually have to establish in each case what a person did to make it happen. In the case of xqc (and pretty much every streamer) a lot of it probably comes down to having things like a likable face, a good voice and surely there are some things he fostered himself, like for instance a streamer personality that appeals to high school students etc. but at this point we're so far removed from the original point I don't even know why we're talking about this.

The lottery being not exactly the same is completely irrelevant. I don't even know why you'd bring this up, I think you might want to read the comment you replied to again but just in case, you made a completely arbitrary assumption without any justification "I don’t call it luck, it was lucky but when you grind everyday for your dream and make it happen it’s 90% you." There's nothing inherently about grinding everyday for a goal that makes the achievement of the goal 90% based on your grind. I pointed that out and then applied that general case to a specific example (the lottery winner) you yourself would disagree with in order to illustrate why this line of thinking doesn't add up. The lottery winner might have also grinded everyday in order to buy loads of lotto tickets but in the end he isn't successful because of his grind, the grind only gave him an extremely tiny bit above average chance to win. Luck plays the major part. Therefore your original claim is wrong.
If you want to establish responsibility for a goal you have to actually analyze the specific situation, connect cause and effect. Making a generalized statement like yours is nonsense.

What I mean is that it is easy for a person to say "Just be strong 4head" and fetishize a general image of strength and self reliance if the person in question is in a situation where the period in their life where they have to struggle is behind them and they're currently living one of the most non-demanding and overpaid lifestyles available. I'm not saying he can't say it but there's no reason to take his stance on the matter seriously because the struggle the statement refers to doesn't actually affect him anymore. He already has the easy life the quote mentioned.

JFK himself saying it is not only arbitrary but also downright evil because of the political implication it carried when he said it. That's an entirely different discussion though.
