2:44:43 its just a reminder that simple had 13 kills against Astralis in final combining 2 maps (faceit london major )there is a whole video ELAMPUDDY did the breakdown NOT A ASTRALIS FAN but in general astralis 2018 SET A BENCHMARK for csgo
the question was who will win if they had a match with each other. i agree with chad, navi have more firepower. and besides of that, i believe astralis didn't fall off, they're in their 20s physical factors not yet impeding from dominating. astralis set a benchmark and it evolve, now the bar is set higher than astralis era. it's the nature of a competition. people will always defend good old days for the sake of nostalgia, but the truth is the present is always better than the past. likewise in football ronaldo and messi peaks is objectively better than pele and maradona at their peaks, people often say otherwise, so are in the future mbappe and halland peaks will be better than ronaldo and messi peaks. i believe that navi peaks is objectively better than astralis peaks and one day other team will beat this navi peaks too. now, if we talk about legacy, navi will not beat prime astralis any time soon. they need atleast 2 more major to start that conversation. even then you can always argue that astralis made the blueprint that navi adopts and developes.
We cannot really compare teams from different Eras as they said because teams learn from older teams and evolve based on their mistakes. Now the s1mple argument that he performed bad against Astralis in the grand final, that is like me saying astralis players would not win anything in 2016 because they always used to choke major semifinals and they choked a lot. Now their is a video where thorin analyzes s1mples performance astralis as time went on and if you look at the stats, s1mple went from being shutdown most of the times to outright dominating maps over the course of 2018.
@@harounamaliki157 Wait, you think current Na'Vi has more firepower than 2018 Astralis? The Astralis that had every player on their team in the Top 15? s1mple and electronic are great, but 2018 dev1ce and Magisk can definitely challenge that duo whereas prime dupreeh is definitely b1t's superior. 2018 gla1ve is still the best IGL is CSGO history, even s1mple acknowledges that he is just that good and he is the only IGL to *ever* win an MVP. Xyp9x stomps Perfecto into the ground in his prime. Stats-wise, it's just not a question. Competition-wise, they both had strong teams to face with 2018 Astralis having a slightly weaker Na'Vi, the strongest FaZe roster ever, and the strongest mousesports roster ever while Na'Vi have G2, Gambit, and Vitality. It's not about nostalgia. The people who think 2012 NiP are the GOATs are the nostalgia-drive people. 2018 Astralis is undoubtedly the strongest CSGO team ever. Their accomplishments might never be surpassed, that's how successful they are. 2018 Astralis peaked at a level that had never been reached before and might never be reached again. They had literally everything: the best igl, the best support, the best anchor, the best rifler, the best coach, the best organization, the best teamwork. It's not as simple as starting an era to surpass Astralis. Many teams have been in Na'Vi's position right now. Only one has ever been in Astralis's position and that's Astralis.
@@singh9418 "that is like me saying astralis players would not win anything in 2016 because they always used to choke major semifinals and they choked a lot" Except that statement would be absolutely true. They knew they were shit and they had problems. So they fixed them. They got some support for their players, they got gla1ve, they focused on mental health and fitness. zonic changed as a coach to really focus on helping Astralis players personally rather than just professionally. You can compare teams across eras using stats and competition and accomplishments of those teams in particular times. 2015 fnatic, 2019 Team Liquid, 2017 Gambit, you can compare these teams within reason. There's no way to know for sure it they're too close, but it's not hard to say 2015 fnatic is better than current FaZe.
Yeah, they don't necessarily need a superstar like device. They just need someone consistent enough to get those 10-15 crucial frags to open up rounds throughout a map (which glaive and lucky just can't do every time). And while I can't say whether or not farlig is that awper, he's probably their best bet after device (unless some new danish zywoo-tier talent comes around, of course). They may also try to get konfig to main awp (as atralis really doesn't want to spend any money, as stated in the podcast) but I doubt anyone would agree with that decision lmao
Simple solution to fix M4A1-S vs M4A4 balance.... M4A1-S should be 20 round clips. I watched my friend ace with 1 25round mag with m4a1-s.... 2900 M4A1-S with 20 round mag vs 3100 M4A4 with 30 round mag... Simple solution, and i'd still use the m4a1-s because 20 rounds is still a consistent 2 or 3 kills with ease. and the backup amo should go from 3 25 round mags to 4 20 round mags for an extra 5 bullets, 1 extra clip, 1 extra reload.
2:00:42 about m4a1s; armored leg hit makes 28 damage, armored chest hit 26 damage, abdomen & pelvis armored 33 damage.. so, if the recoil makes bullets go slightly up, it might be better to do 4 bullet sprays, aiming at legs? and not at heads at all.
There is no armored leg, armor only changes dmg to stomach, and chest ( and head obviously with helmet). No, aiming at legs doesnt make sense because it still takes 4 bullets, where as if you have good aim, its always better to go for head, so in M4A1S, either 2 HS or HS + 1 chest is alwasy what you should strive for. Remember, pros have really good aim and there the difrence between 2 and 4 shots is massive, especially since M4A1S has 600 rpm fire rate and not 660 as the M4A4.
What made up my mind about 2018 Astrails vs 2021 Navi is someone on HLTV said ALL 5 PLAYERS were in the top 20 that year. Navi won't have more than 3 rhis year. So Astralis win easy.
No reasonable person thinks currently Na'Vi is as dominant as 2018 Astralis. In terms of pure skill *and* accomplishments, Astralis was unstoppable. Even as they are now, b1t and electronic are still a level below 2018 Magisk and dupreeh. Same thing with Perfecto versus Xyp9x and especially Boombl4 versus gla1ve. I like Perfecto and Boombl4, but they aren't a match for the best support player and the best IGL in CSGO history. Only s1mple is better than dev1ce, but he's not even close to superior enough that he elevates his team above 2018 Astralis.
Alexieb replacing Nexa makes sense. Nexa hasn't been playing good for a while. sometimes, he doesn't get enough kills from even good positions. Amanek is the most big brain player in G2 but monesy would be better. JackZ somehow feels alright. I liked the IEM Winter roster with KennyS on the team. :( ... G2 just couldn't win main matches.
I actually hate the thought of alexi going to G2. His style of IGLing is more micro-managing and Niko is already a strong enough voice to second call and they are brining in a coach who worked well with Apex who had a looser style of calling.
For the dream team discussion, I understand why they made it a team, but I think they should have just done more sensible awards. Like best awp and rifler are fine. But then I think you’d have better discussions around a category named “best tactical system” instead of coach and igl. It opens up the conversation and removed the unknown elements like not knowing how much someone like booml4r actually calls. It allows you to just talk about each teams system. While still giving credit to those players.
I'm a big fan of AleksiB. I'd put him right up there with Nexa... but I can't see him micro managing NiKo. I'm just a pleb, I don't have any majors etc. I've just watched a lot of CS. Would be the Karrigan situation all over again.
@@PrinceDarkLothos that’s definitely true, I was just making the point that it seems that he’s already broken out of that, and It seemed Prof was referring to it as a current issue.
I could see jacks going for faze IF aleksib moves with money to g2. If they need a entryfragger and second awp amenek could be a option to since they have played a international roster for 2+ years
So would that be G2 -nexa? Is nexa really that bad? Seems like he’s a pivotal part of the G2 lineup I don’t see a world where removing nexa makes G2 better
@@alarik95 I dont see the reason behind that switch. There were roumers about nexa giving up the IGL role and that's where the aleksib speculations came

It's like saying prime nip WOULD slaughter astralis 2018, they can't lmao.Coz it wasn't that skilled back in those days compared to 2018
Random question: why do people keep saying that astralis is broke? I mean didn't astralis won a lot stuff and they had lost of sponsors and shit. How come nip has the money to buy device but astralis isn't even capable of buying him back if they wanted?
Rumors are they have a lot of financial problems. But they have money. They just don t like spending and it s hard to say if it s worth the shot. The thing is they made the best team of all time without spending that much, they didn t just bought the best players on the market or spend as much as possible, they ve played smart.I guess they still believe they can somehow make a good team without spending that much.

It's been a few hours. 😂 Furthermore, there's as of yet nothing to say that Dev1ce isn't just throwing up a smoke screen. It's entirely possible he's casting a shadow to keep his teammates and the org comfy. Basing on rumours is often necessary. It's sometimes all you have.
@@Midnight7Marauder true but we haven’t seen Aleksi try loose calling yet though, so we aren’t sure if he is adaptable or not
For the dream team discussion, I understand why they made it a team, but I think they should have just done more sensible awards.

Does Device Getting Back In Astralis?
What are they talking about at 1:54:35?
Twizzst is entrying more than rain atm in faze
Didn't dev1ce just shit on this rumor?
This podcast was filmed before his 5 part "response" on twitter
@@scapegoat4 Fairy muff.
no he didn't. Note that he didn't say that the rumors were false, he just wanted them to stop...
@@jeppeheppejepsen5960 he said they were nonsense. He didn't directly say false, but it's basically the same thing.
@@jeppeheppejepsen5960 be said they were bullshit
Oh BnTeT. Could be nice if he join Renegades since Australia and Indonesia is near from each other.
Prof called Broky a super passive awper..
Start of the year. All really became more agro after cologne
i mean he was one of the most passive players overall in the first 6-8 months and last year entirely
@@PrinceDarkLothos that’s definitely true, I was just making the point that it seems that he’s already broken out of that, and It seemed Prof was referring to it as a current issue.
@@Lo33y_ true.
13% opening duels in last 3 months is super passive. He is barely above olof as the most passive player on faze
There were roumers about nexa giving up the IGL role and that's where the aleksib speculations came
@@alarik95 It's less to do with nexa being bad and more so because he has visa issues and G2 can't get him at practices with consistency.
Edit: Like, it got so bad that NiKo had to sub in as IGL.
Idek, how is it even difficult to comprehend who will actually win between astralis 2018 or navi 2021 I'm not a navi fan,but definitely I'll b picking up Navi, it's because cs isn't the same anymore like how it was in 2018, ofc, astralis bought new skills and tricks in 2018 where other team didn't even know what to do, but it's different now, the lvl for cs has been skyrocketed, they watch their match and they cultivate themselves into much better than what they were before. It's like saying prime nip WOULD slaughter astralis 2018, they can't lmao.Coz it wasn't that skilled back in those days compared to 2018
THE THE THE GOOD BAD UGLY
Spunj drinking the bud heavy.
tbh Mantuu would really be a worthwhile pickup for G2
Mouse drop acor, pick up kennyS, then ropz leaves and they pick up JKS
That would be interesting
Random question: why do people keep saying that astralis is broke? I mean didn't astralis won a lot stuff and they had lost of sponsors and shit. How come nip has the money to buy device but astralis isn't even capable of buying him back if they wanted?
Rumors are they have a lot of financial problems. But they have money. They just don t like spending and it s hard to say if it s worth the shot. The thing is they made the best team of all time without spending that much, they didn t just bought the best players on the market or spend as much as possible, they ve played smart.I guess they still believe they can somehow make a good team without spending that much.

i have a bad feeling about ropz as a faze fan i wish we get frozen instead
They should get both, honestly. Rain is too inconsistent nowadays
make chad use a swear jar and u wont need to monetise videos
Kenny to Mouz
Astralis should bring in Cadian and then they might create an era again!!
lol
Instead of glaive?
@@antonhelsgaun cadiaN is also an AWPer and a pretty good one. Hell of a lot better than fucking Lucky.
@@zettour. yeah but I'd argue glaive is still the better igl. It might result in a better overall team because you get a better awper, but it'd be more optimal with a new awper only, especially considering glaives contract
Fnatic taking Jackinho from Rifler to Awper could have fucked his career... he is really talented but he is not an awper
bring STYKO back to mouz
Dev1ce is fucked either way.If he leaves and comes back to Astralis it will be one more - on his legacy and people will never ever again shut up about him being a gla1ve's system player etc.If he stays, well..to me this option still doesn t look good.Every good team right now has a lot of firepower, i mean good top 20 players.NiP has 1, and dev1ce is not s1mple and he can t carry everyone every game.Rez is too inconsistent to be considered a good star player. They needed a very fucking good rifler and things might have worked out, but instead they've got es3tag.I like him, but it s not what they need.Dev1ce is 26, he has 2 years left at best. This year it s the first in a long time when he will not be a top 3 player.Things already going down and i don't see how can NiP fix everything and become the best team and win a lot of tournament in these 2 years. He already confirmed he is not leaving, but going back to Astralis is and was his best option. The question is what's more important for him, he is better in Astralis and there is a big chance for him to win more, but everyone will forever hate him and people already have a lot of things against him.
mir to vp instead of qikert.
Rain way better than jackz
spunj looking like 30 year old justin bieber
Dev1ce Part didn't age well , He completely denied all false rumours about him on Astralis . Dexerto CS and HLTV should not make a part of their podcast based on rumours . Thats a no brainer
Is this the first episode you've watched? They base roster changes and rumblings on rumours if there's nothing concrete. Grape vine information can be great.
Beside, age well? It's been a few hours. 😂
Furthermore, there's as of yet nothing to say that Dev1ce isn't just throwing up a smoke screen. It's entirely possible he's casting a shadow to keep his teammates and the org comfy.
Basing on rumours is often necessary. It's sometimes all you have. A scoop is often accurate anyway, but even if it's not, it's not like they were throwing shade or digging at him. If it was out of maliciousness then it'd be a different matter, that goes beyond news into stirring the pot.
Lesson learned: Dev1ce should never left Astralis just because of a girl. Now she left him.
What! Did a girl has anything to do with his move to sweden?
@@sexntuna everything to do with.....
@@sexntuna She lives in sweden and he lives in demark so, he moved to sweden to live with her, but when dev1ce start playing ninjas he had some rough time which he gf might wanted to be part of it and they may have problems and it may ends up with breaking up so harsh that they unfollowed eachother on social medias.
