    I did this a few months ago and replaced my fuel filter as well, it helped tremendously with the slight rough idling issue I had 👍

    Great video. When I did my head gasket a couple of years ago, my 20 year old injectors looked like crap and didn't want to reseal properly. I wish you had made this video back then. I opted to buy new ones. They may only be $60 each, but when you multiply that by 6...sigh. Oh well, maybe after the next 200,000 miles.

    You need to push them in ALL The Way . Twist them and push them in very very hard until they cannot go anymore you need to put a lot of pressure on them to get them in all the way on. Trust me push and twist them very hard

    I have recently done many jobs needing attention on my E36 during quarantine, generally speaking the engine runs well has done 240,000 miles, I cleaned 20 years of gunk from the oil breather system, cleaned all the build up around the inlet and exhaust ports degreased the inlet manifold etc, checked all my hoses for splits and replaced as needed, now I seem to be getting intermittent throttle jerkyness and misfiring occasionally stalling in traffic, is it likely a dirty clogged injector in your opinion, I have ordered new maf and crank/cam sensors, I'd appreciate any help & thank in advance.

    Thanx for the tutorial, I used a similar kit.. So do you oil the o-rings to make them seal fully? I didn’t oil mine, and I think they’re leaking, I mean, they’re leaking, but I’m thinking maybe it’s bc I didn’t oil them??

    • @M3NACE

      because we are replacing the filter? the solenoid is closed when off, and you wont be able to clean inside thoroughly unless you power the solenoid to clean out the channel.

    • @M3NACE
      @M3NACE  3 роки тому +1

      i would recommend this kit, cleaning the fuel injectors doesnt mean the filters will be thoroughly cleaned, they can still have build up. also, if the pintle cap or o-rings are damaged, cleaning will not fix them.

      Thanks for bringing absolutely nothing to the conversation.
      It's a known fact everything is made in china but there's a big difference between a reputable brand giving instructions and guidelines to a chinese factory, and chinese people deciding to make a product on their own, engineering and producing it with the only guideline being "make it cheap, even if that means make it out of literal trash".
      I've been a big chinese product online shopper since even before Aliexpress was popular, so I know my way around buying cheap stuff from over there and you just have to admit half the shit they sell is pure garbage and not worth your time, so it's always worth asking people that tried and doing the research rather than being an idiot and saying that if name brand stuff is made in china all the things from china must be just as good.
      Plus it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see they're not the same, their o-rings are very shiny and look plasticky, hence my worries when you compare them to the oem stuff that's way more flexible and has a very different texture. It also doesn't take much to understand being gasoline or even e85 resistant is a delicate task, which is actually often an issue with cheaper products.
