Do I think they tried to help before ? Yes.. absolutely.. however, dealing with a drug addict is a vicious cycle on both sides..I don't think their bad people,,maybe they were just wore out as much as him..

As a recovering addict, doesn't sound like something an addict would say.
There are parts that, “I feel” Layne would say in an interview and other parts that the interviewer added in. I think, it’s mix with, fill in the blank lies and truth.
Maybe it was a brief conversation?
I know Jerry/sean and Layne had differences years later. Drugs and alcohol can damage friendships.
If you know drug addicts, they are unpredictable and emotionally difficult to handle because of intense insecurity and anxiety.
I think that the interview itself is fake, but a lot of the content was based on actual interviews she did with Layne’s family

Did you hear how AIC treated Layne on Rock line..they wanted him gone and he didn't want to leave. Also, what junkie wants his family or friends or fans to read their downfall.
I'm not saying it's true but I know families will go at great lengths to protect their family members that are users.
If it's true it's dark and Layne laid there for two weeks..Two Weeks..who let's a loved one go unheard from like that?
Two weeks? One year I heard about my parents and my stepsister about 3-4 times... On the phone.
Two weeks would feel like a harassment. Not that it is so but what I have used to between late 20's and late 30's. And no, I'm not a rock singer or a junkie.
I was jyst never wanted.
And Layne wanted to be on his own. What the hell they should have done? Sneaking in his backyard?
