RIP Steve Albini.
Steve always gave respect to artists whose music wasn't necessarily his thing. He didn't claim to be a fan of Nirvana or Led Zeppelin but he still respected both artists enough to work with them. That's a great mindset to have. RIP
Steve was a massive Zep fan - Bonham's drum sound was one of his magic dragons!
@@stephenbrooks9509 Jesus Lizard's Liar always sounds like Physical Graffiti to me
Love steve. So much of my rock collection has his name printed on it.
Thank you for these.
And the bands/albums that he recommended that didn’t contain his name. Gotta respect the Analog King!
That’s pretty awesome. I knew he liked The Damned so it doesn’t strike me as too crazy.
That’s really cool. Thanks for all your great work, Daniel.
You’re welcome Shawn, cheers
I hate that he’s gone and the videos stopped.
@treytaylor7553 I feel the same way.. i loved playing Steve’s interviews as background listening as I did projects around the house..
So, what record are we talking about here exactly?
I think it's Walking into Clarksdale.
