I have a few things to say about this.
First, I like that you're not trying to fakeclaim or call them out but on the flipside, at the end of the video you say the video was made to inform people on DID so they can tell who's being a bad actor. It's okay for systems to be genuinely misinformed about their own disorder and instead of looking for signs of faking/being a bad actor towards people we don't even know, we should instead be correcting the misinformation.
Secondly, glad you brought up AspenFrosten/AspensEntourage. Their entire page is full of misinformation, and while I'm happy you're bringing attention to it, there's so many other videos other than Noelle mentioning she's a fictive that are full of misinformation that you could've used. Fictive is a widespread word used by many systems to describe introjects from outside sources from media. Those are real and have been acknowledged. Systems themselves have just adopted the term fictive.
Thirdly, you didn't give a lot of context about pinksugarfaeries' video, but systems themselves can sometimes become aware of their systemhood and alters before they're diagnosed. We knew from our elementary school years but didn't know anything about DID/OSDD obviously, because we were so young, but we knew something wasn't quite right. When we were actually diagnosed and started doing more research ourselves and working with therapists, we realized that the signs we were experiencing made a lot of sense and we could grasp that it wasn't just feeling "not quite right", it was us being a system.

Thank you for this. I do not think people understand how society as a whole will view a video title or the suggestion of someone faking and how it may have negative implications. Misinformation and faking or fictive are not the same.
Truly appreciate this comment more than you know.

Not sure if you deleted your comment, OP, but while it really is none of your business whether or not I am medically diagnosed, I actually am. I've been in therapy since I was thirteen years old, alters have met my therapists, I have talked about fusion and integration with therapists, we are diagnosed. I think that unless you're a system yourself, you shouldn't be speaking over other systems.

@@x.osiris.x Okay, but if fictives are a genuinely real occurrence, please direct me to an article written by a professional explaining how it happens within a system. I couldn't find anything that wasn't misinformation or had a made up pride flag attached to it. (Red flag for more misinformation)

@@x.osiris.x Also, I am not the one who originally talked about your diagnosis, you offered that information yourself. It very much is important to know who is diagnosed professionally and who isn't in this context, also.

long comment, i know, i just had alot of thoughts. fictives are not a medical diagnosis, they're just one category of ways alters can form. The term itself was coined by the DID community, like how alters can form based off of abusers, people close to the person, similar things like that but fiction. as a kid people undergoing instensely stressful times the brain latching onto their favorite character, that making an alter form based on said character as a way for the brain to cope. Or as an adult with developed DID forming fictives under the same stressful circumstances doesnt sound hard to believe. I've talked to and seen multiple people with DID who have a diagnosis and fictives, DID itself is HIGHLY under researched and under recognised so i feel like taking the word of people with the disorder and lived expieriances makes more sense than writing it off as misinfo.
Also, I feel like the first video wasn't understood, with the sandwhich analogy, try instead of CUTTING a sandwhich, you take the ingrediants apart. that fits alot better for DID imo, the parts you have all fit together to make a pretty good sandwhich, but are different on their own. Taking into account that DID is an IDENTITY disorder, some alters are going to have their own boundaries, wants, likes, dislikes, that differ from eachother, making them act like comepletely different people + blackouts/major amnesia sometimes between fronters. While some are going to have unoticeable differences between eachother. Asking people to treat alters as seperate people/to just treat them like people in general isnt misinformation, it's what they want because they FEEL like seperate people, im sure they're aware they're all apart of one person, they're in one body. But they were never formed as a single identity and thats kind of the point of the diagnosis and why they said that in the video in the first place.
I think that from a psychological lense, saying that this video is to help people "spot bad actors" and to "ignore bad actors" really, doesnt make sense to me. like people genuinley going out of their way to learn terms, intergrate into the community, etc, aren't acting and probably just have something else thats messing with their thought process making them THINK it's DID. People could be spouting a bunch of true info, and still not have DID. There's no way to tell if people are "acting" or faking having DID online, like you said DID takes years to diagnose sometimes, and gets misdiagnosed often. the people in this video..weren't exactly spreading misinformation and instead telling stories about their expieriences? so encouraging people to judge the validity of other's mental disorders based on google searches and not years of schooling + a psych appointment with the person they're evaluating so they actually understand what they're judging, is kind of weird to me

Hey! I just stumbled upon this video. I can't say anything about the subject matter, but I just wanted to say: I can see you're going for a creepy/horror aesthetic? I get the vibe, but I think as a viewer, the background music is a too distressing to still be able to follow what you're talking about. I'm just focused on the background noises because they're really creepy. Also if you're going for the oversaturated low quality jpeg horror thing in your background, I'd suggest muting the background and maybe incorporating really saturated elements periodically throughout the video instead of having it like that the entire time. It's a bit straining on the eyes. Your model is really cute and creepy though, I think you did a great job with them! (If you made it.)

Just a black image on 50% opacity over the background would work wonders too without extra saturated elements. the model would stand out a lot better and basically plays the role of saturated elements anyways.
absolutely agree with everything u said btw, good vid, was just a bit hard to watch haha.

And also, I will try to make the next videos from here on out more easy to look at lol. I really like bright colors and I went a bit overboard lmao. Thanks for the feedback!! :3

This doesn't surprise me at all. Here in Czech republic it's very common for people to confuse DID and Schizophrenia. Even tho we actually use the word "Schíza" to describe the feeling of being scared for no reason or feeling watched. What I'm trying to say is that even tho we use the word colloquially, it just doesn't click in most peoples brains and they will try to convince you that Schizophrenic ppl are the ones with multiple personalities.
TLDR; We need a better education about mental health OMG
