Reverse 1999 is an absolute breath of fresh air in the genre! * Characters that are engaging and unique (Tooth Fairy, Pickles...) - not just walking pairs of massive tiddies. * Great story with an interesting main character that is not a blank canvas self-insert. * Great graphics and a very unusual, artistic style. Very little pointless fanservice. * Relatively F2P-friendly (and P2W doesn't really matter here anyhow since there's no PVP). My only complaint is that once you're done with the story and current event, there's not much to do - so it's more of a side game, but we do need those as well!
I am loooving this game. I LOVE the dub. The voices of the character, they all keep me fucking listening, their accents are so goood. Whenever a small story appears in the story mode, with that DEEP narration, it makes me happy. Schneider best girl did surprise me not being in the Gacha considering she is playable in the story. Probably for a future event? Namely I haven't reached deep in story, but I looove Vertin as the MC. It does the uncommon of having both an expressive, fleshed out Main Character and a girl MC only in a gacha game. Reverse 1999 is definitively a game with so much potential that I just wanna see how it evolves....Hopefully it keeps getting traction and keeps getting bigger.
Best English dub hands down, and I had a real tough time choosing between JP and EN dubs though because they're just that good. Sassy British MC is great too. :)
The Storm reversed our progre- nah I had to fix a couple things that didn't sit right with me in the video so I thought I'd reupload before it was too late.
It gets boring real fast which is kinda sad it didn't stick with me long like dislyte which stuck with me for years of gaming even hsr atleast stuck with me for a few months this just took me less than a month to get bored still this is just my opinion dont let this stop u from trying this game it just wasnt for me tbh i feel like not playing any gacha games anymore:|
I've heard it was the cringe mobile game-style advertising that got to it, and it fell off the radar due to the lack of exposure. After giving it a shot for a while, I definitely agree the gameplay for Reverse 1999 definitely does fall short when paired against many other games in the long run. I'm just a huge sucker for the story, which is extremely well-written and that'd be the main thing I'd recommend it for, and the gameplay is really just the secondary objective. To be honest, I eventually fell off Star Rail after Belobog myself after finding less time to run it with more generous games showing up for me to review, and Dislyte's main story just wasn't quite as compelling as I'd hoped (and maybe a few too many sentences ending with nya for me to take seriously) 🤣
@@TheAniknight I agree with having less time part for star rail it was also one of the reason on why i put it down aswell the reason why I played dislyte was for the gameplay(the bounty stories was pretty okay aswell)and gameplay time which was perfect for me it was a game where I can just either play for a bit of hours or just a few minute I can also afk farm it (The events are fun aswell) but the updates were just going to a p2w route and the powercreep was too huge so I quitted (I agree with the nya as well😂)
@@JJangshi- The auto-combat's a great feature for those too busy to play for sure. Guess it's yet another game lost to the depths of Pay to Win. I've heard the same for games like Clash Royale as well, which is just really sad to see. Suspect a lot of it is due to declining playerbases with time in favor of new game when they rotate out, in a desperate attempt to make more money. Ironically, when it's more Pay to Win, it becomes less appealing and people would more likely leave. But there will be those in the longer-term audience who may end up paying more in short-term to keep up so as not to lose out on their investment into the game.
@@TheAniknight I feel like I took the advice (Don't force your self in playing games you don't enjoy) a bit too hard but i dunno the advice works for me if I feel like I'm forcing myself to play instead of normally playing it I'll give it a bit more time and check if the feeling is still the same and if it still feels like I'm forcing my self to play it's time to quit I don't mind the time i invested in games cuz for me the fun that I got while investing those time is worth it enough that I'm fine with quitting (I also feel like it's better to leave while still having good memories with the game instead of remembering the time u wasted and u didn't even have fun just my opinion aswell) Also deym clash royale it's been so long since I played that game with my dad too we were both playing it day and night but sadly as you said p2w wins and we kept losing to p2w players and had to quit after 1 year of playing For dislyte I even spent a bit but just for the starter pack that is how much I liked the game at the time it was also the first time I spent in a game still worth it to this day 😁 (Really wanted to stick to f2p but the Esper that was also in the package of 1 dollar was a hella good slower and keep enemies from doing their turns even good for Kronos aswell and I was so sold in that 1 dollar deal 😂)
No offense taken, good on you for pointing it out. Wasn't particularly happy with how the meme thumbnail turned out either but couldn't really figure out how else to do it at the time. I've taken your advice and revisited my old idea and I made it work, so thank you for that well-needed push. :)

Based tooth fairy enjoyer?
Absolutely LOVE TF! "I have some drugs for humans. Do you want to try?"
I love her lines, I can assess as a father that "the request for bed time stories is a bottomless pit"
Reverse 1999 is basically a british FGO with pity 50/50 at 70 summons and Auto x4 farm.
Yup you got it. :)

I love the lines of Mathilda I wish she was a bit better or at less on the gatcha to get her constellations.

For dislyte I even spent a bit but just for the starter pack that is how much I liked the game at the time it was also the first time I spent in a game still worth it to this day 😁
