  • Playwright David Cale, director Leigh Silverman and actor Billy Crudup discuss Cale’s riveting one-man play Harry Clarke. In it, Crudup gives a bravura performance as the show’s complicated, charming and nefarious title character, along with all the other roles in Cale’s riveting, sometimes disturbing, but always wildly entertaining production. Jason Zinoman of The New York Times co-hosts with Susan Haskins.

LOVED this on audible. Really stayed with me. Here I am looking it up almost a year later!

Fabulous. Billy Crud is in London. All tickets SOLD OUT apart from a couple at £195 each. Far too expensive for me sadly. I would love to see it. I have ordered the play and will listen to the Audible recording.

We all in a sense ‘channel’ personas and that brings out aspects of ourselves that might otherwise stay dormant
