Exactly the same issue, solved following your video. Thank you so much!! 1st try cleaned area near the redundant connector with alcohol, put back, didn't work. 2nd try I cut and pulled off the redundant connector from the touch panel board, cleaned the whole touch panel board with alcohol, further cleared dust off all boards, made sure the connectors are fastened, and it did the magic! I'm amazed at how Samsung puts in a connector useless for the user (likely for debug or programming purpose), just at the nice spot that collects moisture, which serves as a single point of failure for the whole machine for so many users.
Hi I initially cleaning the touch panel from corrosion with alcohol worked for a month but later it begin stopping again and cleaning it again didn’t fix it. But was a great first step to getting it working! I then bought a new touch panel online for around $180 Australian dollars. Replacing it was so easy (basically it’s a sticker holding it in place with some plastic tabs, it’s now working perfectly 3 months on. Thank you for your help without you I would have thrown it out.
I have Samsung quick drive model ww90t986dsh/s1 No power. Fuse replaced Changed socket No burn smell or damage wires Touch panel cleaned as you shown in this video. Power showing on the power cord to the machine but nowhere else on the motor etc via electric power tester Machine is absolutely dead no power no lit up. Touch panel doesnt accepts reset by holding buttons Let me know if we can speak on the phone and Samsung warranty is just over
Hi there, Could you please help me out, i've even disassembled my whole dryer to get it cleaned. I have also done the same thing to the control board cleaning it with a electronicparts spray because it had the same condens issue but a bit less then yours. I've already ordered the mainboard and tried it as well it doesn't give any sign of life at all the only thing that lids up is the inside trumblelight like u showed. Should I have to order the control board instead?
Great video, we have the same model but it has started to "pause" at random points in a cycle, then seems to time out and switches off. I have heard that a clean may fix this but if you have heard/fixed this issue before then I'd be most grateful if you can point me to the solution.

Same dryer, exactly the same problem here in the UK. Fixed with a toothbrush and a small spray of WD40.
Very satisfying 🎉
Thanks
Welcome, thank you so much
This was exactly right for both my issue and the problem causing it 🤙
