Pretty brave to pop out the airbag without removing the 12v power.

great vid, know the trick and have used it on several of my Bimmers. I do have a problem with my E53 with M62 motor, long story short it will not run with MAS plugged in, Unplug it and it runs, I have installed new sensor, fuel pump and filter and as soon as I plug it it the motor will die. Unplugged I can drive anywhere I want to but of course its running way rich. I'm not sure what to do/check next, any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

Hi Jason, not sure how to get a message to you or whether you are willing to guide me?
Your videos have been well watched after I bought a 2002 bmw 325i, I realized after I bought it, it had been neglected. So you name, I've done pretty much everything except touching the vanos. Currently it stopped running over Christmas, we had a void spell here in bc Canada, and it wouldn't run, it would start but die immediately, you could feather the gad, once I stopped it would die. So last week I pulled the idle control valve and cleaned it, checked my replaced boots for holes, and they were fine, cleaned the mass airflow sensor which I replaced with a VDO june of 2020... stored codes are p0102, mass airflow sensor circuit low, did live data and it shows 0.00 lbs/s... so figure it's dead. I bought a used one, no difference. There is also this popping sound in the intake, I'm afraid to Rev it at all, so much popping. Was thinking of removing the intake, but thought I'd reach our, maybe I'm missing something. Any ideas? Thanks! Steve

Hi! Thanks for all your content! I was recently in a minor crash and passenger side curtain airbag deployed. Now looking for tips on getting the airbag out and replace it with a resistor and then hopefully getting the srs light to go away. The car isn’t worth enough to put a new airbag in. Any tips on that? I already have a resistor under the passenger seat for the seat occupancy

I don't remember removing airbag when I did this, is the m sport steering wheel different?

But now that I wrote that, I also remembered I struggled with removing the cover. Think the easiest way is to remove the airbag after all😅

Are those steering wheels backwards compatible with the e46?

I don't think so -- the airbag on the E46 has one connector.

At that point I would of just took off the entire steering wheel , to not get the airbag light .

You have to remove the airbag to get the steering wheel off

@@50sKid yeah, but I mean keeping the battery disconnected through the whole process
