i think its easier to focus on the big things you can see with nen instead of trying to learn all 530 different nen things. basically aura can enhance your defence and attack and lets you see other aura furthermore there are 6 categories of nen types. enhancer and so forth. and you can create 1 or 2 abilites, much like a spell based on your nen type. hisoka a transmutter can transform his aura in in something like a gum he can controll. he transmutes his aura. enhancer can enhance attacks for example. another thing is. you can set conditions on your ability (e.g my super enhanced punch only works at night) to make the ability stronger. while the different disciplines like zetsu, hatsu etc exist, they are really hard to remember and arent super important to fully know. they are only important for a few episodes. and yeah, a cheat sheet really helps, since this stuff is overcomplicated. and yeah. castro is dead.
lol ok Parker. Hisoka is nowhere near as powerful as anybody from the first arc of DBZ. A power level of 9000 is already more than enough to destroy planets. With a power level around 125 Master Roshi destroyed the moon. Piccolo destroyed the moon again with a power level around 300.

At 4:48 it shows Hisoka flinging a tile towards the entrance but Parker is right, in the manga it went straight into the stands and then continued as if nothing happened even though there is no way nobody died there.
With what the manga also shows later on you're probably made to sign a release form for being in the crowd during matches so high up because shit like this happens. That's why the arena is relatively small but they're being heavily broadcast

as multiple people already mentioned, hisoka isn't actually into gon in _that_ way. he's basically bi/pan and powersexual. things like gender and (unfortunately) age don't matter to him, so he's not into people solely because of how old they are or because they're a guy/girl/etc. he's turned on by fighting/the idea of fighting people with incredible power/potential where his life is on the line (so he's also an adrenaline junkie). which is why he keeps mentioning waiting until gon has "matured" so that he can fight gon when he's reached his full potential. the phrasing is gross, as are his current... ehem, reactions... to gon, and it's obviously not okay that he doesn't care about the age factor. but he's not technically a pedo. some people don't really care about this distinction and call him one anyway, which is their prerogative, but imo it's an important enough distinction to mention because you won't ever understand hisoka's character or choices fully if you don't acknowledge these things about him. he's incredibly strong, smart, gross, and just all around incredibly interesting. definitely one of the best antagonists in fiction, imo. the closest example i can think of is loki. both hisoka and loki are not good people, but they're fantastic antagonists that people love to hate and hate to love (and some people just love to love lmao).

I decided to take a break and just never went back to it. Speaking of, do you any of you know of the 1999 Version of the Hunter x Hunter Anime?
