That was really cool, it would be sweet to get a mic on the helper and GoPro’s on both. That would help to get an even better perspective. Bounce between your filming, (which was awesome) the driver, and the pit guys perspective as well. All those cars are coming in to pit and he’s working his magic. Put all that footage together, and that would be epic.
MORE OF THAT! But i'm more interested in the racing side of things. Should have asked about what setup changes he had made throughout the race to deal with the track. More about tire choices things like that.
I liked it even thought I'm not big on nitro. The camera angel below the drivers was interesting and seeing their throttle and steering input. Pit guy seemed to do a good job as well and I'm guessing he doesn't do that often. I'd certainty feel like I'd mess something up
Man I could do that thanks for the video a good look in on what it takes to do that hope I can get in to nitro stadium truck hopefully it does come back.
Hey Mark whats up my brother, the miked up thing sounds super cool I would love, tks for all the hard work you put in to gives us your fans a really good content, your friend william from NJ Forgettaboutit
Another awesome video. Awesome perspective from the driver and Chase. I sure hope folks realize how much work you are doing to promote this awesome hobby and all of its different levels and layers. Thanks for taking us on this ride is all i can keep saying.
Mark, this video is the video I ALWAYS wished someone would make, and YOU did. Congratulations! 😊 I am an avid fullscale and 1/8 rc scale fan. I watch from the Dakar, through to drag racing ... IMSA, WEC, and F1, and what's always exciting are the behind-the- pitwalls action, and in the cockpits. But when it came to RC racing, there were no eyes or ears into the interactions between drivers and their put people. Thanks to you, I've seen it now, and my interest in rc racing has elevated. You did show some some footage ON THE DRIVERS' STAND, but I wish you would do a video from the point of view of one e-vehicle driver on the stand that has extreme close-up hands-on-radio shots, etc. I guess I can only hope for something like that. But thanks for this video, Mr. Santa Maria. Keep 'em coming. The concept was genius!!! Thanks. You're the man!
This is cool! Think for they next video try to capture the driver working on their cars in between qualifiers ,what changes they would make to their setup, and why they make them.
Loved it! Maybe include a short intro about the race and some info on car setup. Also, it would be great to hear the conversation between Mike and Chase, have some pov footage from each driver (Go-Pro), maybe even a drone for overhead shots. Really, sky's the limit and would love to see more. Props to Chase, must be pretty patient to put up with Mike 😉
I would really like to see more of this peppered in, including carpet/asphalt. I agree with the others about wiring the driver and pit guy's communications. Also, if you were to provide some narration to potentially further explain a few bits of their communication here and there just hit pause make your comment and resume to really give us non racers a more complete look at what you are your competitors go through when the pressure is on. You have an excellent idea here, but again go for the mixed bag, dirt, carpet, Asphalt, rocks, what ever is in your wheelhouse would be great.
Definitely liked the micd up also the view of showing him throttling and breaking was a sweet shot only thing I could think of to be better at is not show soo many different views I wouldn't video on the drivers stand I would stay on the ground if it was me a little to busy but loved it you don't get to see that side of it unless your doing it
Hey mark, awesome idea!! Why’d you bail from nitro? Are you going back to nitro at some point? I hate how nitro seems to be slowly fading out. I still have a tmaxx revo and a Losi xxl 2, I’d love Losi or traxxas bring out a new version
Cool stuff, don't have any tracks around here (Stanislaus County) in California near Modesto, would enjoy watching live, going to have to pull trailer out that way one day, I'd like to see & hear more content can only get better 😁
Man, I wanna do it now….but, you will just have to have like white noise playing cuz I can’t talk without using f word on repeat….smh…..that was great btw
Imagine a thief breaking into the huge white trailer thinking there is an actual race car inside, only to find a little toy car sitting on a stand lmao
Awesome ideas!!! Great Content! Very interesting from a promoters view. Yes, I have promoted many live events in the past. I would love to create a series for Professional Drivers, where they actually get paid. Not just get comp for hotel and or a per diem and or food allowance for a weekend event. There needs to be prize money in it for pro drivers to continue their career. As well a tier system. Tier 1 Pro, Tier 2, Semi Pro Drivers and or developmental drivers, Youth development all in the same structure. I would love to create a tour event 5-6 events With in North America and Central America. in a few months. I am inspired from your videos! Keep up the great work and if you know or suggest drivers fantastic, lets build the industry!!!
Great video! I agree with most talking about having both miked up. Cameras on both driver and pit guy. The pre race footage was awesome! The last thing doesn’t bother me but I think you should bleep/silence the profanity as I know you have some younger followers.
Nope , need to go to a local hobby shop or online like eBay or horizon hobby , nitrorcx.com, kyosho.com, hpi, etc... These things can cost from $100 to over $1000 they are not cheap throw away cars you break it they sell parts to repair it.
Looks like they take it super serious, is there money on the line or something?? Looks fun never been to a track before last time I tried looks like the klan was only allowed ,I never heard of anybody threatening to call cops for trying to have fun.. so I left..
@@blazelong3803 nice ya I can see that... My buddy set up his outcast started doing donuts , and we surrounded by dirt parking lot I guess the guys didn't like that so we were asked to leave or cops would be called... So now I'm kinda hesitant on going to any track😣.. but heck ya keep up the great vidz..
intereseting indeed! you need to get the dual wireless go and mic up the pit helper guy to hear their back and forth.
I like hearing Mike during the race but would also like to hear Chase would be interesting to hear his prospective from the pits. 👏👍
It is good to see the communication between driver and pit person.
Very intense the entire time! Before the race in prep and during the race!
Love it, always thought the Racer & Pit dude spoke about the nuances of Champagne vs Sparkling wine during a race. I was lied to 😬
Great idea. It gives the viewer of what goes on in a nitro race.
That was awesome! More please!
The mic up thing would be great to give people the racers mind during a race
Honestly that was a pretty cool video Mark the behind the scenes with the driver and pit crew maybe next time put mics on both of them
That was really cool, it would be sweet to get a mic on the helper and GoPro’s on both. That would help to get an even better perspective. This is a really cool video. I've never raced before I never realized how complex it can be
I liked it. For someone wanting to get in to racing
That was cool a different view of racing would have been better if we can hear the pit person too.
That was really interesting to watch.
MORE OF THAT! But i'm more interested in the racing side of things. Should have asked about what setup changes he had made throughout the race to deal with the track. More about tire choices things like that.
This would also be interesting. A way to learn how different drivers think about the conditions and adjust their cars throughout a race/weekend
I like this and Chase did a great job pitting, he looked calm and on it.
I really enjoyed this. Could feel the intensity
Definitely do this again enjoyed it
Dude thats awesome I had no idea that's what it was like at a pro level
very intense the entire time! before the race in prep and during the race!
I liked it even thought I'm not big on nitro. The camera angel below the drivers was interesting and seeing their throttle and steering input. Pit guy seemed to do a good job as well and I'm guessing he doesn't do that often. I'd certainty feel like I'd mess something up
Coming from someone who has never RC raced i really enjoyed this i would be nervous of screwing up the pit stops tho. Great video like always Mark.
Two minutes into this and I dig it! 🤘😎
Great video! Interesting to see that aspect of it!👍
Keep coming out with these. Loved it.
Yes these types of videos are sick!
very interesting and good video we need more of this
Man I could do that thanks for the video a good look in on what it takes to do that hope I can get in to nitro stadium truck hopefully it does come back.
this was cool................love to see more of this!!!!
his pit guy is so confused and like ok ok ok ok

You always made my day mark thx
Love it. It’s always good to see the team working together.

it's crazy how little throttle finger is used. I've never run nitro though.
Cool track
i like it when you have the driver mic up.
The whoops section kicked my azz.

Love this, Mark! Thank you for giving this awesome hobby the exposure it deserves!
Yeah there’s only so much you can do on your own but for the first time tryouts pretty entertaining
Loved it! Maybe include a short intro about the race and some info on car setup. Pretty cool video.
Definitely more to it than just driving. Lol

Good afternoon bro
Uh yeah, gotta do more of these!!!
I liked it bro…do more mic’d up racing.
Cool idea! I definitely enjoyed it.
It's always funny hearing guys mic'd up because you hear them so well and hardly anybody else that it makes them sound like such a loud mouth
Hey mark, awesome idea!!

I hate how nitro seems to be slowly fading out.
I still have a tmaxx revo and a Losi xxl 2,
I’d love Losi or traxxas bring out a new version
If he ran nitro he wouldn’t have time to make videos for us
Cool video u should do one for you
MORE ! That was awesome
Cool video, dug the mic up.
Yes please. More of this.
Nice

Lol that's what we said about Cody Cooper 🤣
You know that you've been in the rc Hobby a while when the nitro engine starts you smell it thru the screen lol
Imagine a thief breaking into the huge white trailer thinking there is an actual race car inside, only to find a little toy car sitting on a stand lmao
I enjoyed that take on pit crew to driver aspect. Maybe someone that doesn't complain about every little picking thang next time...lol
I would be a nervous wreck if i was Chase! I would be afraid i would screw something up!
Definitely a lot of pressure!
What car was he running? Great video
Love your channel bro!
Aloha 🤠

It's just competitive. Some of the pro's make their living through it.
