I have to thank you for that suspension tuning knowledge you dropped there. I noticed it loose exiting corners on power. I'm glad you explained what you did and seeing that those changes made a drastic improvement when exiting corners on power. Thanks again dude. Kickass at PNB best of luck to you and or Evan.
I wish I had that amount of knowledge when it comes to tuning. Your level of knowledge and being able to tell Evan exactly how far to adjust the throttle needles and idle is amazing!
I'm getting back into the hobby, currently rebuilding my t maxx. Tekno wasn't even on my radar, now those are what I'm working towards next. thanks to you.
Hey Mark I should come to the Hobby connection of Easley Greenville SC. They are having a race on march 12 at 12:00. There is a lot of places to eat, people are nice. There is a lot of great things about Easley
Seeing Mike rocking the pink and green takes me back to 2008 and the Manufactures cup when he raced the Traxxas Revo, that was such a great race! Good to see him still at it!
My buddy runs the Xpert switch, in his serpent with light mod to it. Seems to love it! I got a new Serpent E-buggy on the way, can't wait! It will be my first build, of a new platform! I'll probably do an unboxing on my channel. Truck looks and sounds great man. Not a fan of the new body style, I'm gonna have to get one though. Front shocks always punch thru the front of my body, and make it hard to keep nice. Great video!
Dang Mark, it’s like a whole other game Dogg! Electric vs Nitro! Like 2 different hobbies almost! Thanks for showing us what’s up with the Nitro game man!! 🤙🏽
Looking good. I've only got a single long practice session and one club race on my Tekno NT48 2.0. The only change I made so far was going to my favorite wing (Tekno High Downforce) and VRP 1.5mmx5 pistons in the shocks. Feels awesome for me. Glad to see you with a nitro on a track.
My tekno et48.3 and my et48 2.0 are by far my favorite cars. I might get a nitro one if i can find a better place to bash. My backyard not big enough and since I'm in a wheelchair I need to get my driver's license so i can take my nitro out to a big field and stuff. I'm super jealous of your BEAUTIFUL paint jobs on your rigs baby
Nice driving. Nitrous RC’s make brushless motors look silly. Super quick very quickly. Cool you get to enjoy & have something in common with your son. That’s a win win situation.
You burned that track up, especially after you made the adjustments to the rear end. Please show the footage of you and Evan when you guys race that truck, that’s gonna be something special to see! I can’t wait!
About to buy this, love the video. Have a new mp10T I built this winter and wanna build this to have a buddy race me. Finishing my at home track with the Deere 450c bulldozer I bought last summer and I hope to be racing and sending out invites to local rc guys after spring. Enjoy the content.
Nitro fuel is gravity fed. A full tank makes the engine run richer than a low tank of fuel. So in order to keep your engine from flame out or stalling on a tank low on fuel, a tip is to start off with a full tank running rich. So near the end of the race when the fuel is low the engine is running optimal and won’t lean out or stall.
That’s partially right partially wrong. The engine does get leaner throughout the run but not because of the fuel being gravity fed. The main reason the engine tune changes over the run is because it gets hotter and it gets a bit leaner. The tank is pressurized by the exhaust pipe (hence the fuel tubing from the exhaust pipe to the top of the fuel tank) and that pushes fuel through the fuel line and into the carb. If the fuel system on these cars relied on gravity to feed fuel into the engine, the engine would run really inconsistent and lean since they don’t create a vacuum to suck in fuel and air like a 4 stroke.
@@ashermorales8276 We will have to agree to disagree. I’m aware of the pressure from the exhaust. I don’t believe it eliminates the effect of the gravity issue 100%. Maybe you are right and I’m wrong, But I disagree based what seems to have worked for me. Two differing options would make for an interesting lab test don’t you think. Maybe we could end up on an episode of Myth Busters .. 🤓
@@wheelie642 I can agree on the fact that the pressure doesn’t fully eliminate it. Different pipes have different amounts of back pressure so that can effect it too. A pipe with less back pressure isn’t gonna push a whole bunch fuel into the carb so you’ll have to run your engine richer so it doesn’t lean out once it’s hot. This decreases your run time. In the opposite scenario, a pipe with more back pressure will push more fuel into the carb so you can run your lean your engine. In return, you get better fuel mileage. I have a different channel called MRC Designs. I might make a video testing an old JP2 pipe vs a new Hipex pipe and see the performance differences and run time differences. I believe that the newer pipes produce more back pressure than the old ones
You have a lot of great content! I was wondering if you would do a video or short series on what you would need or what it takes to get started in nitro rc? I've been thinking about getting a nitro, but a little unsure
I been wanting to race 1/10 carpet. I been looking at 4wd buggys, especially the tekno eb410.2. I wanted to race short course but no one is racing short course in my area. Right now I have a slash and rustler and I'm planning to put in a hobby wing brushless system in.
Damn really with I could get into racing there’s just nothing near me we used to have a track but the tore it up to re do it about a year ago and haven’t touched it since..
Hey mark, I’m thinking about getting a crawler. What one would you think is best for a beginner, I’ve been thinking about the Traxxas trx4 sport but I’m not sure
Hello. I just finished building my tekno nt 48 2.0. Is it normal for the steering to engage the front diff when i turn the wheels all the way right to left, kind of binds until the diff frees up...

Nitro is definitely back! i just ordered an 8ight-T and sighing her up for racing in the spring. Can’t freekin wait!

Yeahh, it's really different 😁🔥
It's nice to see you running nitro with the boy that's that's good
Great running car
I just got my hobao hyper sst .32 running today miss the nitro

liked how you went over what anti squat does, very helpful.

bald tires, and outdrives and center drives not being broken in yet, get a gallon on it, and it will start to generate grip. Looks great Mark.
Drivetrain isn’t even broken in and it’s already looking great sheeesh !!!
Always fun to hear the revs and see the smoke
Tekno is the business bro!! I w still got a gen 1 nb48 that rips with my nb48 2.0 all day. U just cant stop them
I can't wait to run some laps with you in my NT!!! Congrats on getting the build done!!! Super excited for you and Evan!!!
Ahh the sound of angry bees 😂
Talking snap while driving love it!! Very good running. When someone is better then you it makes you better 😊
I'll lay odds Evan turns himself into a solid lil nitro racer
Love these Tekno trucks. Yours inspired me to build a pair of them. Nice setup bro.
Wow very nice to see you with nitro I Love it.
Great video and thanks for the fuel Mark!
Nice driving. Nitrous RC’s make brushless motors look silly. Super quick very quickly. Cool you get to enjoy & have something in common with your son. That’s a win win situation.
Great run guys! Tekno is looking good out there👍

Dang I need to do some nitro racing , looked awesome and that truck is exactly what I would buy , 👍🔥
I need to get that setup-station😍Thank you so much champ!🙌🏻🔥
Soo stoked for the nitro series 🙌
Been waiting to see more nitro
Best video yet… fun track with great driving
Awesome. Been wondering what are those long handles called guys add to the fuel tank to make opening in the pits easier? Thanks
Not sure, taking a shot in the dark, something like ”fuel pulls” or “tank pulls”?
looks like a blast. just got a sworkz 35-4 . 56 old just getting into it money pit lol
Nice tekno man so clean …. Nothing like a nitro
Wow those changes made it way more planted.can’t wait to run my tekno.. of course not at the track though 😎👍🏻
Awesome! Hopefully see you at PNB! 🏆
Hi Mark, another good video. Love the racing ones more. Good set up advice also!
Pure gangster if you are married and wrench on the kitchen bench.
Consider me Gangster then 🤑 Cause I’ll have 4 cars on the Dinner table lmfoao
Engine sounds sweet mark.... lol
Have you ever ran a Reds engine in your trucks? I have a modded Reds r5r (rbmods) in my nb48.3 and it's a beast.
Nice bump pass Mark 😁 Closed the door a few times also NIIICE 🔥 The Tekno is looking good out there bro. 🔥
That was a fun one on one battle. 🔥👍✌️
Love the nitro content
I always tell people if you want to wrench and tune your RC constantly, buy nitro. You want to run it and just have fun with it, buy electric.

Just got my truck together get it out this weekend to shake it down
Looks like a blast! Lol at the smack talk on the driver's stand 😎
Mark, i watched one video today and now im watching them all😂
You have a lot of great content! I was wondering if you would do a video or short series on what you would need or what it takes to get started in nitro rc? I've been thinking about getting a nitro, but a little unsure
Mark, which size manifold/header are you running in the video? 75mm/85mm?
YES! more race content, please!
I miss the sound of my nitro!
Awesome I love it. Get a nb48 2.0 when you can. We’re not here to take part we’re here to take over. #teknotakeover
Try some sticker tires on your next run on track so you can see how the truck runs.
Nothing fixes a rc better than a marbled cookie brownie. Lol same dinner I had last night
This truck needs more video!
Nice to see the setup station in use, can you use it with the Revo?

That was awesome mark
That sounds good really great information cool channel
yess love the nitro content!!!
your son drives really good
Really nice race track brother
Hey Mark the build turned out so sick, quick question, what kind of wheels n tires were you running?
Evan take everyone to gapplebees buddy!!

I’m surprised UA-cam actually gave me a notification on this video because I never get them from you even tho o have notifs on
Nice job Mark
KOOL BEANS 😁. SMASHED !!!!!!!!!! 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Damn really with I could get into racing there’s just nothing near me we used to have a track but the tore it up to re do it about a year ago and haven’t touched it since..

It's cool, I'm going to watch the video well ~~^^
That's cool set up
Coming soon to Netflix - the Santa Maria Diet
Good evening great video nice car
Enjoy the weekend
Hey mark, I’m thinking about getting a crawler. What one would you think is best for a beginner, I’ve been thinking about the Traxxas trx4 sport but I’m not sure
Nitrogang is here 🔥🔥🔥
Where can I buy this build complete ready to race out the box brand new without having to build it ?
Hey....I recognize that hoodie 🤣🤣🤣
aweeee yes
My little brothers slash 2wd vxl rear skid keeps breaking what do I do do I upgrade it to the lcg or upgrade it aluminum
By “skid” do you mean the chassis, or the rear skid plate, like what you’d land on after a rear-heavy landing?
👍
Mike for you which is the best kity truggy nitro pro?
Hey Mark what starter box are you using?
Hello. I just finished building my tekno nt 48 2.0. Is it normal for the steering to engage
the front diff when i turn the wheels all the way right to left, kind of binds until the diff
frees up...
I WISH MY DAD TEACHED ME THE WAY MARK TEACHES HIS SON
Great Content 🙌 🛻💨
damn those things are loud
Question What tires should I run on my Traxxas slash on a off-road track?
How do you like the futaba radio vs the sanwa?
Tuning with the bald tires does it affect your tuning or is it better to tune with fresh tires like you would race with?
Tune to your race conditions. So yes tune with decent tires on it at the track you run at.
Make nitro great again
Never adjust you idle with the idle screw use the low speed needle to control idle
💕👍
what kinda fuel lid puller is that
anyone know what the Guages are for adjusting camber and toe?
What track is this @mark
