I went with "light" because a lot of the songs in volume 6 (this one included) use "the light" as a theme, probably in reference to the God of Light and how he's the power they need to take down the Grimm, hence Ruby's silver eyes. Remember, Maria said that desire to preserve life is what powers those eyes, so it does seem to be light in that sense.
This soundtrack had so much surprising style switches in the songs but they all worked so well and I loved every song. Amazing work as usual Jeff and Casey!

This song is very important to me, RWBY since I have known it has accompanied me in my most difficult moments, especially its music, Miracle is like the breaking point between doing something or staying behind, life could hit you, throw you on the floor and if He wants to make you stay there, but despite everything you must be strong, get up and fight, because there will always be hope. That's why I like it so much.
I hadn't realized that this series grew up with me every passing year and it conveyed that same message life gives you as you pass from being a "kid" to an adult and realizing that the world out there isn't a fairy tale, but you still have a fighting chance despite what it throws at you.
This song came to me a long time after watching RWBY while I was in the shower, I was whistling the chorus over and over trying to recall more parts to eventually remember lyrics to google. Somehow I had a feeling it was Vol. 6 so I found it quite quickly xD this and Indomitable. Ever since I listened to those on repeat a few times UA-cam keeps pushing this song and Indomitable over and over again under any and every video I watch. And I’m not complaining.
I really like how this song represent how desperate they are to have at least some progress of all the things they done up to this point. It does feel like what they have done is pointless, but i suppose just delaying the inevitable, is the best they can hope for , for the time being.

The second half feels so SO much like grimm eclipse that the whiplash is real. its like, the hopeful version of grimm eclipse- but funny enough it shares so many similarities, the unjustness the narrator feels, the idea of a "miracle" happening (not unlike being able to create grimm) and the idea of a reckoning. weird parallels, love it
It’s pretty crazy. I’ve listen to the whole album now and I really have discovered that this is the album of unexpected things. Much like volume six, it gets a little bit experimental and while it can be jarring sometimes, I feel like it was better they change things around than not.
