I always hate how these tech entusiasts speak nonchalantly about people losing work. These are real people with real lives and this lady is all smiles.

Creativity is part of it, but creativity that isn't predictable is much powerful. For AI, to be trained, it needs large pool of data along with predictive patterns in the data. However, if the pattern constantly change in a very short term. It will be harder for the model to be trained for now.

In the TED Talk "The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Workplace Automation," the speaker addresses how AI technologies are changing the nature of work and expresses worries about possible negative effects on society and the workforce. Although the speaker agrees that AI can be more efficient, I don't think that broad automation would result in total unemployment. The past shows that technology improvements create new sectors and possibilities. Artificial intelligence will replace repetitive activities, freeing up human workers to focus on more complicated and creative projects. This will result in the creation of new job types that we may not even be able to imagine today.

I'm tired of tech people's positivism. How they explain to other people that they need to adapt to the changes. That they need to get new skills. Tech is a very unethical space, and the people there are constantly doing questionable things. Trust me, I know, I used to work there. I left that industry because I'd rather work for the oil industry than tech these days.
Funny thing is some tech jobs are starting to get automated, slowly. 10 years from now that industry might not need programmers or analytics people. We'll see how they adapt then. Or maybe they'll change their opinions about this subject? It's always easy to be the optimistic one when it's not happening to you.

Nobody is talking about the scenario when the jobs are taken by AI, the middle class will shrink drastically. Given how middle class is the primary consumer of any economy - whether developed or developing or under developed - the catastrophic impact in everyone's life will be greater than the benefit of AI.
It is the middle class that takes most of the debts and once job is lost, the debts will turn into bad debts. Financial structure as we know will be gone. Even the elites who would benefit from the lower cost and efficient output of the companies they have invested in, they too would be in pickle as those companies will find it difficult to sell their products.
Unrestricted use of AI will definitely imapct us - more in negative way than positive.

Don't worry! Humans need to upscale and do better things with new jobs. BTW, this video was uploaded 4 yrs ago, still the drivers are driving the vehicle. With the evolution of technology, drivers for example have become independent by relying on companies like Uber, Ola etc.

Great talk. It would have been even better if the men weren't talking over her through the entire recording.

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
      Mark 8:36‭-‬37
      Sharing the word of God❣
      JOHN 3:16💖
FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON AND WHOEVER BELIEVE IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT WILL HAVE AN ETERNAL LIFE
      ROMAN 6:23
FOR THE WAGES IS SIN IS DEATH
BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL THROUGH HIS SON JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD
JESUS IS THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE
      A LIFE THAT IS ETERNAL
JESUS DIED ON A CROSS TO PAY THE PRICE OF OUR SIN HE WAS TORTURED,CRUCIFIED ON A CROSS BUT AFTER 3 DAYS LATER
HE WAS RESURRECTED FROM DEATH CAUSE DEATH COULD NOT HOLD HIM
BUT BECAUSE OF THAT GOD HAS GIVEN US A FREE GIFT OF SALVATION THROUGH HIS SON JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD😊
REPENT AND ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOR
TURNING AWAY FROM SIN AND TURNING BACK TO GOD
      JESUS AND THE LOST SHEEP🐑💖;
Then Jesus told them this story: “Suppose one of you has 100 sheep, but one of them gets lost. What will you do? You will leave the other 99 sheep there in the field and go out and look for the lost sheep. You will continue to search for it until you find it. And when you find it, you will be very happy. You will carry it home, go to your friends and neighbors and say to them, ‘Be happy with me because I found my lost sheep!’ In the same way, I tell you, heaven is a happy place when one sinner decides to change. There is more joy for that one sinner than for 99 good people who don’t need to change.
      Luke 15:3‭-‬7
      ARE YOU THE LOST SHEEP?😊
JESUS IS WAITING FOR YOU TO CARRY YOU HOME💓✝️
      JESUS LOVES YOU
      GODBLESS YOU 💞
