The Eagles - Hotel California | The Greatest Guitar Solos of All Time (IMHO) #10 (Rafael Collado)

It's futile to try to say anything original about this solo! But you will have a hard time finding a "greatest of all time" list that doesn't have Hotel California in its Top 5 or 10, including mine. It is a timeless masterpiece for which Don Felder and Joe Walsh laid it all on the line. Thank you, gentlemen.
Now, Mr. Felder and Mr. Walsh's original tracks have been taken out, so all you hear in this video is me. To get these signature tones I used my trusty‪@prsguitars‬DGT model. In the original recording, Don Felder used a Gibson SG through a tweed Fender Deluxe, so I used my PRS DGT on the bridge position through a‪@NeuralDSP‬Tone King Imperial plugin with a very heavy boost at 1k and 2k. In the original, Joe Walsh is said to have used a Telecaster through a Fender Champ, so I used my PRS DGT on the bridge with the coil-split, which sounds almost exactly like a Telecaster (which you can corroborate here • Vince Gill - Liza Jane... ) through the Tone King Imperial with different settings, a narrower EQ band, and a phaser.
