My focus for this month is the Food of the British Isles and that includes the entire island of Ireland which contains the sovereign state of Èire (also called Ireland or The Republic of Ireland) plus the state of northern Ireland which is part of the soverign state of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Hope that clarifies and that I don't offend anyone - foodways generally don't repsect geo-political borders and flow between them.
