I always keep instant mashed potatoes in my pantry. It’s easy and fast to make, especially when you are disabled and can’t stand much.

I keep canned potatoes in the pantry all the time. The sliced ones are great, fry them up with onions is really good. Batter up the whole ones and deep fry them, better than the potato logs you get at the deli’s.

At 64 years old I have recently rediscovered instant mash and it has been a revelation. I use milk instead of water, and I add butter, garlic, liquid smoke and grated cheese. They are amazing!

Umm canned potatoes ... By the time you open the can rinse and heat then mash a little, you could have boiled a pound of whole potatoes, mashed, added heavy cream, butter, a splash of salt and presto .... Dinner !!

Can potatoes does NOT add flavor or anything else for that fact ! Instant mashed taste aweful anyway you cook them!🤮
