The Talyllyn Railway - July 2019

The Talyllyn Railway is a historic narrow gauge railway that has been preserved for over 150 years. The line runs from the seaside town of Tywyn to the village of Abergynolwyn. The Talyllyn Railway is known for being the first preserved heritage railway in the world and also as the real life counterpart to The Skarloey Railway from the Thomas the Tank Engine books. @the railway guy 2019 no. I’m not actually from Manchester, I’m from Preston. My title is just the class of my favourite steam engine in the world, Gothenburg (which is a Manchester Ship Canal Class Tank Engine) and 2004 was the year I was born.
