    I have this light!!! It's amazing my carnivorous plants grew like crazy. I wish I could control the dimmer via software: It'd be cool to start the day at 10%, then 30% then full brightness by midday/etc.

    Hey Brad. I really enjoy your channel. I love seeing your greenhouses and how you set things up. What I love is that you're into a diversity of plants not just one boring topic. You talk about Nepenthes, orchids, hoyas, and other plants too. You might like collecting Amorphophallus. They are cool. So are cactus but you'd need a dry greenhouse for them. Anyway, you know I've been here from the start. Looking forward to the next update.

    I know this is old but. That light looks identical to the wills 1000 led grow light...they must be made in the same place

    That Viparspectra looks a lot better than their old fan-box style lights but I still have virtually no faith in that brands durability long term or their efficiency in general.
    HLG seems to be the go-to mid range brand, the Mars Hydro TS/SP/FC series lights are the cheapest thing I recommend, and brands like Fluence are worth every penny you spend on them if you're running the lights long-term.

    What’s PARR?

    • @BradsGreenhouse
      @BradsGreenhouse  3 роки тому

      PAR is photosynthetic active radiation. PAR light is the wavelengths of light within the visible range of 400 to 700 nanometers (nm) which drive photosynthesis

      The Hoya maybe? yeah they are such a low light plant. They were a bit pale just from the natural sun light before the LED went up. They need to go under the shaded bench and would be happier.
