Absolutely love how thorough you are!!! Please keep these going!!! I’m a mom of 3 littles and all these practical and detailed info really does help! Thank you!!!!
So my wife and I purchased the Telluride for our growing family. We have a 3 year old, 1.5 year old, and newborn. With 3 kiddos all in car seats, it does get a bit complicated. Our 3 year old was forced to the very back for access to the 1.5 year old (turned forwards) and the newborn (turned backwards) in the captains seats. When loading the kiddos in and out (for the time being), we have to climb through the trunk by laying the big side of the back seat down to buckle and unbuckle the 3 year old. The captains seats are basically locked in position with the 2 car seats in them and seat belt wound through the safety areas of the car seats. So the middle isle is not accessible at the moment. I look forward to the years where my little girl can buckle herself in because it will be super efficient and convenient. For now, if you have 3 young kids, try out those logistics before you buy. May find yourself looking at a bench seat vehicle in the back for the first few years (like a Q7), then transitioning into something like this or a Lexus with captains seats. Overall the car is amazing but my biggest drawback with kids is the lack of keyless entry for our model. Should come standard IMO for all of them. And our trunk is not automatic, which is cool but for 50k that seems like a normal thing to have. Very smooth ride, and love the Passenger Talk feature. The UI in the infotainment is quite slow, isn't reactive to touch but is what it is.
Can you not walk between the captains seats into the 3rd row to buckle in your 3 year old? This set up sounds terrible. Wouldn't it be easier to just get a 2nd row bench seat and have all 3 kids in 1 row rather then climbing into your truck every day?
@@kolbymeyers66 Can't fit as a 6'1" 215 lb dude with those 2 car seats in the way. Seatbelt locks them in place so you can't move the seat any. Yup bench seat is optimal for our situation now. But when they get older, captain seats would be primed for the fam.
@@LandonMeserve I have the bench seat in the 2nd row and it's horrible. I can't find a way for 3 car seats to fit so we have to put the 3rd child in the 3rd row and it sucks to get to😅
Seems like it wouldn't be so bad if newborn was in a carrier that had a base installed, right? Kids climb over the base to the 3rd row, then the newborn carrier clicks into the base last.
We have the 2022 telluride EX and loveeee it! We didn’t get to order our car or even see the car before we purchased because it was a new one being delivered to the dealer so we were pleasantly surprised when it had a bench seat. The bench adds 2 additional cup holders (in the center) and was able to fit a rear facing car seat in the middle seat with two adults next to it comfortably. We also had 2 adults sitting in the 3rd row comfortably and I just can’t say enough good things about this car!
Love my Telluride! Ordered one back in Nov for my wife and it finally came in Jun 27th! Got the SX nightfall edition with the grey interior. Added a couple of features that I didn't need, vehicle is fully loaded no extra mark ups from my dealership! Looks exactly like the car in the video, but front windows are tinted.
@@Thatbeardedguy86 my 22 Limited 4x4 just feels right. It’s full of technology, the seats are amazing. A lot of space and the drive is beautiful. To each of their own though, I love my new Jeep, good luck.
Got my wife the 2022 Nightfall in Dark Moss Green back in FEB 2022 in NYS. Love all the looks except the Badging, you pay extra for the truck to be all to be blacked out and they don't black out the Emblem like previous years. Ill have to do that myself. Also, I wish they painted the Brake calipers, the silver stands out a bit with the black wheels and everything else. Paid 5K over MSRP for 2022. Not worth more that that over MSRP IMO, but given the used telluride pricing at the time, might as well get new. IF you cant find one new for 10% and under over asking, look for more luxury model car, BMW/VOLVO. So far, happy with the truck. I enjoy driving it, she enjoys it, our boys enjoy it.
They've refreshed the interior for next model year. It now features one wide display with two screens, kind of like an EV6. I think it makes the dash flow better.
For perspective, I had three (3) kids in the 3rd row. Ages range from 6 month old (with carrier car seat), 6 year old, and a 12 year old. It was pretty tight with a booster seat but made it work for short rides. My kids are not big and but this is an example that the middle seat in the 3rd row is not entirely useless. We have a 22’ SX AWD NF/T, top trim and we love it for a family of 5. Could we have went into the next class for more cargo space? Sure could have but for the price and design, we couldn’t pass up the Telluride.
Did you have a rear facing car seat in the third row? I’m expecting baby #3 in October and the only option is that third row seat. My twins take up the captain seats at the moment.
I seriously just subscribed to you just because of your comment of "catch me in the parking lot with a mimosa and the cozy fireplace"... yes... yes... this puts a whole new feel to the new parent with a sleeping child in their cars eat and not wanting to move them into the house so you now are just sitting in your driveway chilling out with the fireplace on!

The hook on the back of the seat is for your charging cord. Notice it is close to the charging port. It is there to drape the cord over when you place you charging device in the seat back pocket.
Not sure if that's a good idea. The hook is of large size and goes quite deep so it would bend and break your charging cord. To me, that hook is not designed for hanging your charging cable.
@@LamNguyen-sr1sy I think my comment was not the clearest. Your device (Phone) goes in the pocket on the back of the seat, the cable is draped over he hook to get it out of the way and is then plugged into the charging port. It is intended to just keep the cord out of the way when you are actually charging so it isn’t hanging down. I have heard this described by several reviewers. Either way its up to the end user on how to use it.
@@chrisphillips6573 that may work if the device is kept in the back pocket. Since these ports are intended for rear passengers, chances are they would likely be using their devices while charging. Really Good Review! Kia Telluride is a really good Truck. But, in Korea, the issue of reducing GDi engine oil of Palisade, a Same Engine, is always followed. I think Hyundai Kia Motors' powertrain reliability are the biggest risk.
Did you really just say amber boxes referring to the halo running lights? The telluride groups would not be happy lol, they are VERY protective and snobby over those things. My Mother, sister and my 4 year old in a car seat fit more then comfortably in the second row. I have an I seater and it fits 8 people with tons of space.
So the bench seat isn't really worth it? Like the idea of an extra seat and for the car seat to go in the middle, but came here to try to find out if that middle seat even can accommodate a good sized seat. Sometimes they just step on the buckles for the side seating and it's frustrating.

Might've just been haters or people waiting in line sis, haha. Consumer Reports at least which independently tracks reported issues across the country, the reliability for the Telluride has been ranked great for every year it's been out so far. The only other cars in that category have been the Mazda CX-9 and the Toyota Highlander. This car is still new so that can change in a few years, but currently for the oldest 2020 model, the Telluride actually has a better reliability record than even the Toyota Highlander, which has generally been considered the best.
We bought 2022 Telluride, had it for less than a month and it’s been in the shop for almost four weeks now, it was leaking oil, the dealership won’t refund or exchange it for another one, they said the Tellurides are having some issues. I wish we bought a Hunday Palisade instead.
Hahaha 🤣 ive been watching your videos I’m in the market looking for a vehicle for our family. 2 adults, a 3 year old, a 19 months old and a 3 month old.
Was a fan of Honda's in general, but their reliability is going downhill. The Pilot has had 5 recalls for the 2020 version for example, and while every manufacturer can have a recall for something minor, one of the reasons was for a structural issue that required additional welding. They were potentially death traps...
@@anfernyjackson9013 Fail! Honda is probably the most reliable car maker. Kia / Hyundai just recalled 5.8 million cars and SUVs, due to them catching on fire. One woman recently burned to death in a Kia, after it caught on fire. Now you know.
Keep in mind, it is a proven fact that women who drive suvs (rather compact or mid size or full size) are THE most attractive. By experience I find that true.

They have an extremely high reliability rating
So the EX 22 comes with the amber lights?
We bought 2022 Telluride, had it for less than a month and it’s been in the shop for almost four weeks now, it was leaking oil, the dealership won’t refund or exchange it for another one, they said the Tellurides are having some issues.
I wish we bought a Hunday Palisade instead.
Hey Babe you're in Volvo Pricing Now #Facts #Comedy!!!!
Are you gonna do a review on the Hummer ev
Yep! Coming soon!
Hahaha 🤣 ive been watching your videos I’m in the market looking for a vehicle for our family. 2 adults, a 3 year old, a 19 months old and a 3 month old.

Wondering if you can fit 3 boster seats in the 3rd row? Is there any SUV that can?
Do you want kill all children when truck hit bad ?

Buy toyota Yaris
Do you know if with the Bench model you can fit 3 car seats in a row??
There’s another lady that does a car seat review on the Telluride and she fits 3 but buckling the 3rd one was tight
@@melisag9745 thank you !
I have 3 across my bench and it’s easy, I do have slimmer seats though so that probably helps 🤷🏼♀️
You gotta put your forward facing child in first and then load rear facing child second
How many pots of coffee did you have?? If you want to laugh, watch this video in 2x speed 🤣🤣🤣
The screen is hideous! Any car company that takes the lazy route and plot a vertical or horizontal tablet on the dashboard I’m not even looking at!
Love those painted on jeans!
We just got our new Hyundai Santa Fe 2022 for MSRP.

Ex does not have captain chairs
Nightfall means “murdered out”
Doesn’t help your trying to fit a water jug into a regular cup holder lol picking up my wolf grey nightfall in October. Great review from 🇨🇦 Ontario
15:55 abububbabby booster???? what!!!??
I love hour channel but PLEASE slow down! I can’t understand you!!
We fit three kids in the third row easily - tweens and tall teens.
Nice video, it's very informative, but I'd rather buy a Pilot SE instead.
Still waiting for my telluride
Keep waiting...I've been waiting 8 months and was told it's not coming anytime soon.
Keep in mind, it is a proven fact that women who drive suvs (rather compact or mid size or full size) are THE most attractive. By experience I find that true.
