Concerning the Brute's death, it's also a reference to most of the Heart players (who are also Derse dreamers) to have been beheaded
How common is beheading for heart players?
Dirk has been killed this way before (his neck is in constant peril), but Nepeta was only decapitated after death and Meulin never lost her head (physically anyway).

Hussie says that caripations can live for a vary long time (or were imortal, one of the 2.) so that way, whoever the exiles of the session turns out to be, are able to build a new civilization on the players long dead planet. He says it’s hotwired in just about all the caripations to be somewhat obsessed with being apart of, or building a civilization. I can only assume the felt are just as emortal, considering there sapposed to be masters to a god player. You also missed how dersites prefer meat like foods, and prospitarians eat vegetables. Another cool fact is that prosiptairans are able to see threw the clouds of skin and offden make story’s about what they see, in addition to this, there able to prepare for sertin events, like the white queen going to earth, and the white king following her shortly after with roses book.

Additional observations about derse and prospit, the former seems to have largely gothic or modern buildings, while the latter has Romanesque or "old town" buildings

Currently on a reread of Homestuck so I can finally get around to reading and hating the epilogues like everyone else. I'm genuinely curious about the background information that could possibly explain some of the occurrences.

I mean, it was technically a part of Act 7, which is still canonical. As far as I’m aware, everything from the epilogues onward is considered “dubiously canon.”

(Also I'm pretty sure technically the credits don't count as act 7)

I like to think the derse color differences is to reflect the color of the opposite universe. The Kids have a more blue derse while the trolls have a redder moon.

2:28 it looks to naked eye like derse’s color(s) come from overlaying blue and red filters, like looking through 3D glasses (or a giant yinyang bomb). It’s just that which filter is on top is swapped between the two sessions.

I'm a Derse dreamer and have no idea why people even make their beds. Like, why? Your feet are just gonna get warm and you're gonna wreck the bed anyways so what's the point of fixing it if you're gonna do it again. I also have no idea why some people act like you HAVE to make or bed or the world will end in exactly 0.37 seconds.

i will point out we don't have a large enough sample to know for certain there isn't a reasonably important prospit agent or two that just weren't in the spotlight for the series, personally i admittedly like the idea that prospit has its own sort of jack noir/spade slick aka an agent that takes things too far and can't be trusted with the position of authority that comes with the ring but is easily worked with if you go about it right.

I see Derse and Prospit as a representation of Yin and Yan, and as such neither is 100% pure, they have part of the other.
An interesting, or more accurate, contrarian fact is as stated in the video Prospite play defensive and Derse offensive.
How so?
This 2 are a representation of chess, in which Withe is always a step forward and as such in the offensive, and the Blacks are reacting to it, going defensive.
This is recurrent and well known, so much, that there is a lot of book of strategy in how to learn to counter White moves, and how play Blacks as offensive

If you’re considering the Homestuck Epilogues as canon, then no, because Dave and Karkat remind themselves plenty of times that the Mayor passed away. However, considering that the Mayor was fine after [S] Collide and Hussie said carapacians have very long life spans and don’t really die of old age, I am still confused as to why they let him die like that...
Tbh that is the main reason why I don’t consider the Epilogues canon. Give me my badass Mayor back!
