this is utterly fantastic. the fact that this artist was able to rewrite the chord structure in a new, interesting variation of homestuck's own cover is an immensely difficult task that was executed seemingly flawlessly. absolutely wonderful!
@@fsce8599 not exactly, that was why i wrote my initial comment. it’s not that she’s taken the song, slapped it in a singable key, fiddled with the inversions and octaves of certain notes, added extra sevenths not found in the initial chords and such, etc. it’s that the actual compositional STRUCTURE of the cover is different from the homestuck version. not immensely changed, but most certainly deliberate altercations to the chord structure. personally i find them refreshing, as well as all the choices made. great performance too!
