Thanks, i immediately went and bought a circle cutter! I used a longer screw, put a plastic-through-the knob on it and then placed it through the existing threaded hole and into the shopsmith clip…tightened all the way into the clip. Secured the clip with another small screw and then tightened the knob onto the circle cutter into the clip and it is rock solid. Thanks again, Ken

Skilled workers use tools, skilled and experienced workers modify tools, knuckleheads like me lose tools they just had in hand 5 minutes ago, and spend half an hour looking for them. Thanks for the video, take care!

LOL… Just this week, I found my favorite pair of Channel Locks I’d lost two years ago. They were right where I left them… behind the washing machine. I can’t count the number of times I’ve looked for them.
      Thanks Dan.

Great ideas. I’ll probably try some of those to modify the bandsaw jig I just made. Have a great day!

Wonder demonstration on the circle cutting jig for the SS bandsaw. I do have one, that has been underutilized in the past. I will soon remedy that situation, needing a base for a lamp I am making. Thanks,

It was such a simple modification… I can’t believe it took me 10 years to come up with it !
      Good luck with your lamp.

Great idea! I think maybe lowering or raising the table would also move the workpiece to an area of fresh abrasive, unless you are cutting at the far edge of the disk.

Good point… I wasn’t even thinking of that. The thinner and smaller radius disks have a much narrower band of contact. It would certainly be effective there.
      Thanks Tom.

    Thinking outside the circle !!!
A simple fix to a problem are usually the ones that last.
That was a rare allen key, had some torsion forces applied to at some point, never seen one quite that shape !!
Dimples for the Captain, another yacht project for you ?

Yes sir… I don’t know the story on the pestilence that wrench has seen. I found it in an old toolbox my dad left me. It fit. So, I stored it with the Circle Fixture.
We’ll talk about the dimples a bit more on the next video… see you then. 🤓

LOL… I fished it out of an old tool box my dad left for me… I bet it has a story behind it.
      Thanks for stopping by.
