      I like Sam’s arguments and defense of Christianity.. however, a lot of his rhetoric on livestreams towards ppl are vile. Not saying we shouldn’t be stern in speech, but Sam calls people dogs and filthy too much. He even mentioned how Tovia was a “fat slob”.. why would Tovia debate him after being called that? When he calls people “dogs” it’s a Muslim, because that’s what Muhammad calls them. As far as the “fat slob” comment, I’ll have to rewatch the video. Not everyone has the same methodology, but as Christians we are to judge by the fruits. How many people have become Christian (fruits) because Sam shows them the Way. Pray for him 🙏🏻💕✝️

      The word doesn't mean "remove" in the sense of "atone", but in the sense of "tear away" or "break off". In other words, it's more properly translated as "remove yourself from your sin" or "break off from your sin" - basically "repentance".

    Tovia is a hypocrite. First he says we don’t need blood for atonement. Then in other videos he speaks about the third temple and the coming sacrifices. In the Torah it clearly requires blood sacrifices for Atonement.

    • @judahjorge8104
      @judahjorge8104 3 роки тому

      There's nothing hypocritical about it. *When* God allows the Temple to be rebuilt we can bring sacrifices. When there isn't a Temple we have to do works.
      Its more difficult to do works than to pay a fine (sacrifice) therefore the Temple is a reward not a requirement.

    • @judahjorge8104

      Also sacrifices are only for *some* sins. You can't steal 10 cows from your neighbor, sacrifice 5 of them and then keep the rest because you've spilled blood and have therefore now been forgiven.

      @@judahjorge8104 the whole Tanakh is based on the Torah. That was Gods plan, where in the Torah does it say you don’t need Blood for Atonement? The same question was asked to Tovia singer when he debated Dr Brown. And Tovia didn’t know what to say. Even before the Éxodus you can see in Genesis where the forefathers gave sacrifices. Even Job gave sacrifices for his sons incase they had sinned. My point is that since the beginning, blood was required. Of course God forgives you when you repent , but whenever the Temples were destroyed. It was because of Gods judgment on the Israelites. If you look at Ezekiel, the sacrifices their are not in the same order as written in the Torah. So even the sacrifices will be different . On Pesach in Ezekiel, God requires a Bull as a Sin offering and also goats sacrificed daily through the Feast . The sacrifices in Ezekiel contradict the Torah sacrifices.

    Rashi is saying atonement. Sacrifices only atone for accidents. Your demonization of Jewish people is awful I am horrified by this video. As a Jewish person I am extremely offended with the idea that we are somehow trying to cover up Jesus. We aren't covering anything up. We are just here like we were with the prophets of Ba'al and all the other religions. We're just doing our thing. Leave us alone. Your video would fit in great with classical European anti-semitism and I cannot believe you would put this in a video.

    • @blanktrigger8863

      This view of the sacrifices (that they only cover accidents) is falsified by new covenant and messianic prophecies like Ezekiel 36:22-27, which show that the "accident" view is wrong. Sacrifice clearly covered sin in general and was ultimately a symbol of "being a living sacrifice" and the circumcision of the heart (see Saul's annointing by Samuel).

      @@gradman1 It's not "the end of days" but a new covenant that's established by the messiah. Isaiah and Jeremiah and Daniel also talk about it. It's relationship to sacrifice lies in the fact that YHWH is there saying that since the people are incapable of keeping the Law and have profaned his bale by their wickedness, he himself will fulfill the Law through then by his Spirit - which indicates that sacrifice for sins wasn't exclusively about "accidents". The whole langauge of the sacrifice that YHWH desires being a contrite heart etc in Psalms indicates this, that the sacrificial system was a ritualistic participation in the "circumcision of the heart", which comes from the Spirit (again, see Saul's annointing). It was the obedience by which the renewal of the heart was worked. That includes both accidents and intentional things, since "the heart" is "the Self" (will, thought, emotion).

    • @gradman1

      @@blanktrigger8863 I understand that's what Paul says, but that's not what the Jewish Bible says. When King David sinned, the prophet Nathan said, You will die. David didn't bring a sacrifice, he said I have sinned before the Lord. Check Numbers 15 if someone sins by accident, they bring a sacrifice, "But the person, be he citizen or stranger, who acts defiantly reviles the LORD; that person shall be cut off from among his people. (Numbers 15:30).
      Samuel says to King Saul a few chapters later, But Samuel said: “Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices As much as in obedience to the LORD’s command? Surely, obedience is better than sacrifice, Compliance than the fat of rams." (I Samuel 15:22). Ezekiel says they're is no such thing as vicarious atonement saying" the soul that sins, HE shall die"

    • @blanktrigger8863
      @blanktrigger8863 3 роки тому

      @@gradman1 The first thing that we have to note is that YHWH himself said that without the spilling of blood there is no remission of sin (Leviticus). The words of men can't be used to overwrite his words. That said, we see in the Law that provisions were available for those who couldn't afford animals, but the necessity of the provision proves the rule. That said, those scenes where the words of men appear to contradict the words of YHWH have to be interpreted in this context. If they don't fit this context then said men are liars, false prophets, and false teachers.
      That said, before digging into the David and Saul claims, Paul didn't invent the theology of the circumcision of the heart. That comes from YHWH speaking through the prophets, for example in Jeremiah and Ezekiel. I already showed you one such verse from Ezekiel - one from Jeremiah is Jeremiah 4:4. Again, see Saul's annointing where this is put on perfect display. This is where Paul takes the teaching from, so you're confusing unbiblical Traditions from the Rabbis for the Jewish Scripture. The two aren't the same.
      Going forward, it's odd that Jews like to appeal to David's murder Uriah to say that sacrifice isn't necessary because if you look at the Psalm that David wrote after that event, he ends the Psalm by saying that right-sacrifices would be offered in the temple (Psalm 51). Also, he is show sacrificing after that event later in the text of Samuel. Of course, at that time the temple hadn't been built, and since David saw the tabernacle as inferior to the temple (saying "why should I live in this great palace while YHWH lives in a mere tent"), this explains the apparent contradiction: he didn't seek an inferior sacrifice within the inferior tabernacle but instead asked YHWH for YHWH personally clean him and wash him, which is sacrifice language, and to renew in him a new heart (note: circumcision of the heart). Albeit, to fully explain this requires discussing the eternal heavenly sacrifice of Isaiah 6, slain from before time began, and how the sacrificical system was patterned after him, but that would take a bit too much time. The main point is that the only way to understand David performing sacrifices after he wrote the Uriah Psalm without forcing him to contradict himself is to realize that looked toward a greater sacrifice that he, as a prophet who encountered the merkabah, knew just as Isaiah did. By his obedience, this sacrifice was made alive in him. (contd)

      4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
      5 Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
      6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
      7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
      IF THE ABOVE VERSES WERE IN THE NT THEY WOULD BE BRANDED AS ANTI-SEMITIC.
      The verses he has given you are not directed to Jews generally. John 8:44 is to those who sought to kill him.
      Matt 27:25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children. These are the words of the Jews who wanted Jesus dead. Yes they are their own words.
      1 Thess 2:15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men: Again refering to those who had Jesus put to death. So this supposed to be anti-semitic, the aposrle is merely stating what actually happened.
