The connection to Psalm 22 makes a lot of sense.
And that is why the MT removed the "see the light of life" as is found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. Only one manuscript of the Masoretic Text contains this.

Thank you, Dr. Brown. Tovia Singer can't not know that zera' is used non-literally throughout Isaiah. The inference therefore is clear: he's lying. Isaiah is replete with allegorical usage of zera', denoting both wrong-doers and the righteous of Israel, e.g.:
Isaiah 57:3
But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed (zera') of the adulterer and the harlot.
Is this talking about literal, biological children of a literal adulterer? Of course not.
Or Isaiah 65:23:
for they are the seed (zera') blessed of the LORD, and their offspring (tse'etsa'eyhem) with them.
Here Isaiah is talking about the righteous of Israel, not literal children at all, and this usage of zera' is even distinguished from actual offspring in the verse.
How is it not parallelism in Isaiah 65:23?
The seed and offering could be one and the same thing if it is parallelism in Hebrew poetry. This would actually be evidence against the claim you're making.

It is a type of parallelism but not one where an exact equivalence is meant. Hence it says 'THEIR offspring' (tse'etsa'eyHEM) and 'with THEM,' (itAM) meaning the 'seed's' offspring and along with the 'seed'. But even if these things were exact equivalents, the verse still shows that zera' here refers to a blessed community, not to any individual's literal, direct descendants.

Do you really think " zera " means physical offspring of the righteous in here ?
Which means no matter what you do like : killing , fornicating , worshipping idols ,...as long as you are a seed / offspring of a righteous one you will b always be delivered where those who try to follow God's words and live accordingly just because they are literally " seed of evil doers " ,they won't b saved ??
If you take that literally then it literally contradicts Ezechiel 18:20.

In contrast, according to Proverbs 11:19-21, the righteous person will be delivered because he is identified with and united with a group that shares a COMMON QUALITY. In this case he is considered among the descendents of the righteous not because his father is necessarily righteous but because he shares that common quality personally and with all those people who live by God’s standards.

@Yoel Cohen zera usually refers to " MANY ( collective noun) .am not against that ! Or could it be strictly singular in some case? Hebrew is a complicated language.
But zera doesn't necessarily mean physical offspring .
When it goes " seed of evildoers" for example , it refers to a Group of people that do evil ,they are many and their parents or ancestors might b righteous or not.
We call m seed of evildoers just because they all reflect a COMMON QUALITY they all do evil.
Each one ( individually ) in the group do the same exact thing.
Since they are many they can b called seed of evil-doers

Thanks, Brother Brown for sharing the truth of the Scripture, in fact, when we do not know Hebrew, it is more complicated to understand certain parts of the bible, my case is different because God revealed Jesus in me in a very harsh way, I did believe by faith, I have noticed weird stuff in the videos of this guy Singer, since I do not Hebrew I have to settle with just believing what I believe but, unfortunately, he has confused the minds of many others. There is physical seed where we were born of the flesh. There is Spiritual seed where we are born of the Spirit.

As for Isaiah 53:10, Ive always thought of it and read it this way, with Genesis 3:15 in mind.

Yeshuah is Gods *SEED* - *(The Promised seed)* - Isaiah 53:10 clearly identifies the Arm of The Lord/servant as the *SON OF GOD* 🙏❤️

From what I see, in Isaiah 57.3,4 the word "seed" is used both literally (seed of adultery and prostitution) and metaphorically (seed of falsehood). In fact, even "seed of adultery and prostitution" can be understood both literally and metaphorically (adultery and prostitution with other gods and cultures).
Edit: even more, "children of iniquity" in 57.4 is another example of an expression that can also be understood both literally (illegitimate children) and metaphorically, here with the obvious metaphorical meaning. So, there are metaphorical expressions everywhere in Isaiah and in the bible, it's common biblical and prophetic language, thus, to say that a 53.10 or 57.4 must be excluded from this clear and simple view, it's just obvious denial.

Your kind of wild and twisted interpretation is precisely what dr Brown clearly rejected, as it is rejected by most Jewish tradition and scholars, and by the common sense. Even your first interpretation of seed of falsehood, by the very fact that you must interpret it, points to a metaphorical meaning.

When you are not yet educated. Tovia Singer can be quite convincing. But after I read the scriptures, i immediatley realized that he was being dishonest, i hate to say that, but i know that he could not be soo ignorant in the specific cases im speaking of.
Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying, “And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the value of Him who was priced, whom they of the children of Israel priced, and gave them for the potter’s field, as the LORD directed me.”
This is a problem because clearly Zechariah records the passage mentioned in Matthew 27:9-10.

Doesn't anyone find it odd that Dr. Brown says the meaning is that he will just see seed? Every person on earth that J sees is seed from someone. That is obvious. First that reply has nothing to do with my comment so I'll explain why then answer your Isaiah 45:25 and why it's so clearly doesn't point to your J.
My comment was simple. Jews say and he will see his seed means his biological children. That is what the term Zera means. Now Dr. Brown said no no it only means he will see seed. This is what I commented on. I stated that his argument is so illogical it's sad. Of course J will see seed. All he has to do is go outside and look at people then he will see seed or biological children. It's so obvious he will see seed. It makes no sense to say Isaiah was just saying he will see seed. Now try to stay on subject and actually comment on that.
As for your Isaiah 45:25. First where do you see that this see the Messiah hinted to in any way shape or form here. It says in the L-rd. J is not the L-rd. G-d never did or will come down as a man.
Now tell me please if this chapter is J then when did verse 2 and 3 come true with him.
2. I will go before you, and I will straighten out crooked paths; I will break portals of copper and cut off bars of iron.

Look at verses 4 and 5
4. For the sake of My servant Jacob, and Israel My chosen one, and I called to you by your name; I surnamed you, yet you have not known Me.
Wow you think that J is the true servant of G-d but here so clearly says someone else. So this verse is against yout J.
5. I am the Lord, and there is no other; besides Me there is no G-d: I will strengthen you although you have not known Me.
Wow clearly G-d saying he is the only G-d and there is no other G-d. Yet you think J is a G-d too. J is another G-d to you. Oye.
Verse 15
15. Indeed, You are a God Who conceals Himself, the G-d of Israel, the Savior.
This says G-d is the savior not J, not the Messiah. Again clearly disproves your J.
Verse 18
18. ........... "I am the Lord and there is no other.
G-d clearly is saying he's the only L-rd yet the chapter clearly says G-d not J is the only L-rd. Verse 22 says the same thing. It even says to turn to him yet you believe you have to turn only to J.
Last verse 23
23. By Myself I swore, righteousness emanated from My mouth, a word, and it shall not be retracted, that to Me shall every knee kneel, every tongue shall swear."
If this is J when did every knee and every tongue swear to him or bow to him???
If you honestly read this chapter and all chapters of your supposed proofs you'll see J simply is not in them.

53:9 "And with the rich in his deaths." Perhaps King James should have changed the original Hebrew, which again makes clear that we are dealing with a collective Servant, i.e., Israel, which will "come to life" when the exile ends (Ez. 37:14).
53:9 "He had done no violence." See Matt. 21:12; Mk. 11:15-16; Lk. 19:45; Lk. 19:27; Matt. 10:34 and Lk. 12:51; then judge for yourself whether this passage is truly consistent with the New Testament account of Jesus.

In the vision, the people of the holy exalted ones of God are represented by one like a man, that is, man is representative of the collective people of Israel. The emphasis is on heavenly power which acts through the faithful Jews as contrasted with the power of chaos which acts through the kingdoms of this world.

The second half of Isaiah portrays Israel as the failed Servant of Jehovah. Some of the harshest criticisms of Israel's wickedness in the Bible is found in Isaiah. This is describing, not the general righteous of Israel, but One, the most righteous of Israel, King Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth. None of these worldwide effects can be attributed to the general righteous of Israel. Yet they happened, and are still happening. Jesus healed me, and is healing me of my wickedness to this day. He has and is healing millions around the world.

The word of God is a seed itself. In every seed is DNA. What DNA was in Jesus's bones?
And because of Jesus was born as a human man, he himself had genetic DNA in his male gender part. When not, he would have been not a human man.
What would God have done with that precious DNA-seeds? He could share it into elected wombs without having sex, even how God did with Jesus-Baby-Boy in Mary's womb.

What is metaphoric? DNA is real and in every seed, in plant-seeds, in animal seeds and in human sperma, even in viruses and bacterien germs or what is the English word.
Perhaps this is metaphorical, when God said in Genesis 3, verse 15 to the snake in Eden:" I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring..."
And the Nephilim in Noahs age, are they real children from fallen angels and human daughters? How could it be? By crispr editing genetic codes and producing new creation in a vase? Who knows?
I can't beleive how entertaining Dr. Brown is. First he is saying that the Hebrew is complicated and hard to understand. That is one reason why Rabbi Singer is wrong. Here is a man that doesn't know Hebrew telling that a man that knows and live Hebrew as well as our Rabbis and sages that truly live and breath Hebrew that we really don't know Hebrew.
What I find even more entertaining is Dr. Brown is saying you see how your Rabbis and Rabbinical teachings say that verse 10 can actually mean non biological children. Why is it so funny? Dr. Brown says over here in Isaiah we know this man dies and is resurrected so this is how we know it can't be biological seed. So Dr. Brown is using the Rabbis to make this point. The very sources he uses would always tell him Isaiah 53 is not about a single person. It's not about a man that dies and comes back to life. The very sources he's using would disagree with practically all he says. There Dr. Brown will say those Rabbis just believe the Oral law that is against the Torah. Don't listen to them. Or in short. Like all missionaries do. Listen to the Rabbis were I tell you. There they are holy and you must listen to them. However when they disagree with me never listen to those Rabbis that are not holy since they listen to that Oral Torah that is against Torah. How can Dr. Brown not see how he plays with the our tradition. If you quote a source it should be good all the time or none of the time. Unless you quote it to prove it wrong.
As for him saying the children of Israel is clearly non biological seed. He's crazy. Children of Israel (or Jacob) clearly means the Jews. The biological children of Jacob. All Jews. When it says that they are talking about the biological children of our forefathers or the Jews.

The fact that Dr. Brown so clearly uses our Rabbis in one place (wrongfully) and will totally ignore there teachings all over everywhere else even in the very chapter or verse he's discussing. I live in Israel and I'm not willing to make the long distance call. Dr. Brown is so well known for being overpowering and not really letting a person that disagrees with him really have a voice. You can't really talk with him if you disagree with him. So we can just let it stand here.
Dr. Brown you scream listen to your sages here. Why aren't you? The very sages that tell us Isaiah 53 is about the nation of Israel not a person. The very sages that tell us this servant does not die and come back to life. The very sages that tell us the term Children of Israel, all over the bible, are the biological children of Jacob (Israel). The very same sages that will tell us that the very same verse in Isaiah 53 says that this servant must make up for his own sins (the true interpretation not the faulty Christians one). You even find this interpretation in the very proof Dr. Brown brought with the Chabad addition. The Very same sages that will say over and over J isn't and can't be the Messiah for he failed at all jobs, prophecies and qualifications of the Messiah.
This is like me screaming at you. You see such great Christian leader x who so clearly says there is no trinity but J is a mere great prophet and not equal to G-d. O I get it. He knows Hebrew so I must accept what he says as truth. I get it. Midrash Tanhuma and Yalkut, vol. 2, par. 338 on Isaiah 52:13 states that the expressions "exalted, and extolled and be very high" indicates that, "Messiah shall be more exalted than Abraham... more extolled than Moses... and be very high; that is higher than the ministering angels..."

Isa 53 is talking about Adam and you see two lives here. One does and the other sees his offspring. The ‘we’’ are the two witnesses sent to Israel. The two sons with the Prodigal Adam waking up and finding long life. It’s clear and that rabbi is for once right about that seed. The Atonement sacrifice has two goats, Jesus the first sacrificed one and the returning Adam the one who’s been shunned since the beginning of the foundation, that slain lamb. In case you missed it, that sign of the virgin was given to show Adam is born very naturally.
