- Here is my first motorcycle track day and tips in the best check list ever. I ride on the Talladega Gran Prix Raceway track on my Triumph Street Triple R with Sportbike Track Time in Alabama. Kate (StreetFighterATL) is on a Triumph Street Triple R as well, also a first timer.

Actually you're doing just fine for your first track day! Forget about getting passed. My first time I didn't pass a single person. It's a lot to get used to, both the overall track experience as well as the line and techniques. But you did the right thing by not exceeding your limits. With practice and experience the speed will come naturally.
Great to see you running some laps! If you ever find yourself in TX I've got two facilities you can check out (Eagle's Canyon Raceway and Harris Hill Raceway)
Speed comes with experience. As long as you are safe and having fun, it’s all that’s matters.
I haven't even finished watching the vid and will tell you who cares if you are the fastest or slowest. As long as you are having fun. Well done.

Speed is relative, and as long as you have fun, learn and grow, I'd say it was a good first track day! And, since you bought a suit for yourself, I'd say you had a blast! 🤓 Great video Doodle! Thanks for the info, as well. 👍🏽

I bet you won the slow race, so, there's that. You definitely look very cool in the still pictures. You can never learn too much, take every class you can. Good job Doodle.

Hi Doodle, great to see you on the track with Kate, so this is only your second time and you can only ride at a speed at which you feel safe, and not to endanger others by getting out of control!, a very disciplined ride and you looked real cool. It's not all about speed, more about control which only comes with practice, it looked like a real twisty track!
That dance at the end made my day. Which was already pretty good anyway.
